Denmark’s government is being called upon to employ a lethal new weapon in the fight against Islamist extremism: bare breasts.
No, I’m not making this up – and also deny outrageous suggestions that I’m looking for an excuse to tear myself away from the world-changing Wikileaks exposé. Peter Skaarup, the foreign policy spokesman of the Danish People’s Party, wants footage of topless women at beaches to be included in a video shown to prospective immigrants, in order to deter religious fundamentalists.
“Topless bathing probably isn’t a common sight on Pakistani beaches, but in Denmark it is still considered quite normal. I honestly believe that by including a couple of bare breasts in the movie, extremists may have to think twice before deciding to come to Denmark,” he said.
The Dansk Folkspartei aren’t a bunch of fringe loons. In 2007, the won 13.8 per cent of the vote, and 25 seats in parliament. Its support is important to the ruling alliance, which means we should take Mr Skaarup’s ideas seriously – even if it’s difficult.
Now, Mr Skaarup’s right about one thing: I’ve never seen topless women frolicking on Clifton Beach in Karachi. They would liven the place up. I doubt, though, that Islamists are going to flee screaming at the sight of breasts, shock-and-awe inspiring as they might be. Because Mr Skaarup has made the mistake of reading through puritanical Islamist literature, and concluding that it constitutes a guide to the mindset of the movement’s adherents.
Few Islamists, in fact, have any serious grasp of Islamic theology or heritage; their religiosity is for the most part gestural.

Well, as someone who has to spend far too much time working in Western Europe, I can report that it is far too late to save that part of the world from the Islamic tidal wave. However, what a great idea! Just drive them all insane with breasts! I think some of the ladies in our country should start practicing now.

To be fair, boobies won’t deter many of us either.
Most recite passages from the Quran daily, and many have memorized it (not really that impressive as it is both poetic and rather short).
They may have a rather distorted view of history/heritage and theology - but they DO read the Quran.

From what I have read, in fundamentalist Islamic countries sexual repression abounds. However when young Muslims especially males get out of this repressed society they quickly move to sexual excess. However, they then become vulnerable to jihadists who play on their guilt and offer to get them back to salvation.
I don’t think male Islamic fundamentalists would be deterred by viewing bare female breasts. Many of them consider western women to be fair game for rape much less ogling of breasts. The 9/11 terrorists were reported to have visited “girlie bars” before embarking on their “holy” mission.
Muslims want THEIR women clothed head to toe so that THEIR property rights in their women is preserved. It's fine by them that INFIDEL women be unclothed. It makes it easier to see which ones are worth molesting.

Oh, give BB a break. She refused any plastic surgery and spent her early career as a beach babe - with the obvious results. (I feel the same way about Anita Ekberg.) I don’t always agree with BB but she speaks her mind and is a free woman.
And she was one of the greatest beauties France ever turned out.

When I was younger and went to Muslim countries, our female guide told us that the Muslim man feels any woman not in the company of her men (father, husband, brother), or not dressed appropriately, or wandering around (like tourists do) instead of traveling swiftly from point A to point B, is considered fair game for ANYTHING a Muslim man might want to do.
So beautiful women bare-breasted on the beach is hardly a deterrent. They might even get raped.
