Normally, I would agree with you. However, since the ROE’s have changed and our boys are not allowed to win this war, what is the point of them being over there? Cannon fodder? I think we should bring them home as well, but not because I don’t think war ever solved anything. We should bring them home, because they deserve better leadership than what we, the American people, have given them. For that I am sorry.
I don’t agree with the reasoning of these peacenik, commie morons, but at this point I do agree with the objective, I am sad to say.
Maybe it’s just because I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but I took “deal with this” to mean he was trying to organize a counter-protest.
However, I agree that he needs to be MUCH more clear about which side he is on.

Well, I’ll admit that past experience (lengthy) with FR as doers has jaded me. Most seem to have wits and a modicum of intelligence.

Bottom Line... If we allow ANYONE to to paint troops deployed in this sort of anti-war cachet do we not risk much?

That’s better. Just say “Let’s counter protest”. Otherwise, people will think you are with them. That was my first impression.
