Immoral Progessivism Failing Miserably
Human Events ^ | December 4, 2010 | Arnold Ahlert

In England, youths are rioting. In Portugal, labor unions staged a national strike last Wednesday. A little over a month ago, France and Greece were subjected to large, violent demonstrations and riots. A common thread? In each of these countries, the unrest was engendered by economic austerity measures proposed and/or enacted by government. A far more salient common thread? The morally corruptive nature of the progressivist ideology.

As the four recent examples, along with others occurring all over the world illustrate, a group of like-minded "thinkers" is emerging. It is a group composed in equal parts of economic illiteracy and pathological self-entitlement. Only an utter fool—or a dedicated progressive—would riot or strike because someone else can no longer afford to underwrite your lifestyle.

What part of "running out of other people's money" don't the complainers understand?

The opium of “something for nothing” is a hard habit to kick for those so addicted. They can not, will not see that minimal effort equals minimal existence. It’s much easier to blame others and cling to one’s imagined “victim of (insert your favorite bogeyman here)” status.

"Easier" is the key word. Society has adopted the "Easy Road" attitude and it is killing mankind. Moral fiber and work ethic seem almost dead. Kids are growing up in a feel-good, just don't-get-caught world.

Life has always presented difficult choices. In weighing decisions, there were consequences to be considered. Today, society works very hard to eliminate the consequences.

Blaming others is the tip of the iceberg. Living a lie and expecting others to chip in delusional support is the game. If enough people believe the same lie then it will come true is the mantra.

I wish to preach, not the doctrine of ignoble ease, but the doctrine of the strenuous life.

Probably the greatest harm done by vast wealth is the harm that we of moderate means do ourselves when we let the vices of envy and hatred enter deep into our own natures.

The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any-price, peace-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty-first, the love of soft living, and the get-rich-quick theory of life.
-Theodore Roosevelt

So-called “progressivism” inevitable failure is nothing new. The inevitable collapse of such ignorance is just part of the natural order. The “progressives” (aka: moonbats, asshats, assclowns, DIMs, LIBs and so forth) thrive on their self-loathing and other-loathing existence. Losers all...

i want my free stuff...and i want my cap and trade....but think about the larger picture....what good does it do a man to have free stuff if his lungs are continually poisened by nasty co2 gaseous stuff spewed from the smoke stacks of those eeeevil capitalists....?
...what we need is a return to our african roots....think about it........ if we were issued gunny sacks and foldgers cans and reported to our town squares every wednesday afternoons and sat in a circle waiting for the grain truck to dump the grain into the middle of the square where we all fight to get our ‘share’.....wellll..how much pollution of our airways would that cause? none, i say.. plus there is an added bonus.....we’ll all finally be equal!
so...back to basics i say!

but keep in mind... the gumment stores are the only places you can ACTUALLY buy these gunny sacks and foldgers cans....and there will be a mighty, mighty tax on bof of ‘em.....
i yield the balance of my time..

Glenn Beck has the anarchists’ blue print for revolution in every country in a booklet published some years ago. These riots are not spontaneous.

Well, we don’t need to worry about rioting and burning in Detroit..... there is little there left to burn

Tell them to get a job and go to work, lunch is not free.

It’s on our side too. I work with a guy who served a three year hitch in the army, never saw combat, and says “I’m a veteran” constantly, wanting preferences in hiring and all kinds of freebies.

With the influx of Somalians and Nigerians, the re-election of Keith Hakeem Ellison to Congress, and liberals running the city, Minneapolis will soon follow in the footsteps of Detroit.
Too bad, it was a beautiful, large, “small town” just a couple decades ago.

"The other 85% is a slow process which we call either ideological subversion, active measures, or psychological warfare.

What it basically means is: to change the perception of reality of every American that despite of the abundance of information no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their community, and their country.

It's a great brainwashing process which goes very slow and is divided into four basic stages.

The first stage being "demoralization"...."

Yes, and the state has competed with and replaced the church for taking care of the needy...that is the big error. No reliance on God and commonsense to get back to productivity equals a growing needy populace which is what the government wants in order to stay and grow in business. How dare they! Their day is almost over along with all of the excessive taxation.

Immorality has terrible consequences for individuals, families and added up, societies. It is a love killer and life taker.

American elitists are committed to immoral activism in our government, entertainment and in all our institutions. Of of all the ememies on earth they most hate they despise people who know and speak about right from wrong.

It is pretty twisted and sick. And they are so proud of this cause of “freedom.” Meghan McCain comes to mind. People without love and who can not morally regulate themselves and teach their children to do likewise are people who have to be controlled by the police and government. The more grosstesque we become the less educated we become and the less educated we become, the less innovation and wealth we will produce. America is a race to the bottom.
