The Aussie who’s changing the world of whistleblowers
Written by Snoz
Tuesday, 08 July 2008 19:14

excerpt

In August last year, The Guardian ran a front page report about widespread corruption by the family of the former Kenyan leader Daniel Arap Moi, including evidence Moi siphoned off billions in government money. The report stated it was based on a document obtained from Wikileaks.

Assange says the revelation changed the result of the Kenyan presidential election, swinging the vote by 10 per cent towards the opposition, which won the election by 1-3 per cent of the vote.

The looting of Kenya· Leak of secret report exposes corrupt web
· More than £1bn moved to 28 countries
· Property in London, New York , Australia

Xan Rice in Nairobi The Guardian, Friday 31 August 2007

excerpt

The Kroll investigation into the former regime was commissioned by President Mwai Kibaki shortly after he came to power on an anti-corruption platform in 2003. It was meant to be the first step towards recovering some of the money stolen during Mr Moi’s 24-year rule, which earned Kenya the reputation as one of the most corrupt countries in the world.

I still want to know how a private can waltz out with that much data and no one knew.

I can’t even walk out with plant blueprints on a DVD without HR knowing. How can he download and burn that much data?

Did someone feed it to him?

Someone in the power structure wanted these docs leaked. To think that Manning could pull it off without getting caught is insane.

........the Odinga election-

I heard somethig about that, but in looking through the MSM, I really can't find anything about BHO, Jr. going to Kenya, campaigning for this Marxist Jihadist SOB, and then the several thousand Christians massacred afterwards.

Are you sure you are not making this up? You know, it is illegal for American elected officials to interfere in foreign politics, so I am sure that BHO, Jr. didn't do it.

Don't let the rank influence you on this.
If the MOS (job) requires the access you get the access!
I have seen code clerks, assistant sys admins in IT, secretaries, executive assistants who were of similar military (PFC) or civil service rank (GS-3) who had equivalent access. Their jobs required it. If its a 24/7 operation he worked in graveyard shift is often pretty lonely. Probably plenty of opportunity to copy data. Also he admitted he walked around with a digital recorder lip synching Lady Gaga, bad IT security policy to allow that, but I have seen kids walk around high security areas with their “tunes” attached to their heads. Clearly his management was clueless to the potential threat.

I am looking for references that the British Americans were dutifully obligated to serve in the England's military when England conquered other nations. The references must be prior to the revolution and after the 1st settlement in the colonies in the early 1600’s.

If British Americans were not dutifully obligated to serve in the English military, then they were not in fact “natural born” English subjects, but subjects of a different class such as denizens aka inhabitants not afforded political status of full subjectship.

IMO I believe it is way past time we have a Grand Jury. The state grand jury can be called by civilians. I think in Michigan we need just one or two P.A.s involved as foremen..I’d have to re-read that though. But I do know that State Grand Jurys are the ultimate in investigations.

What the hell would they do if citizens in all 50 states called up grand juries for the intent of investigating corruption at the federal level?

Bushpilot1, did you mean to put this excellent reference in this thread?

You, Patlin and rsxid (and many less frequent contributors) continue filling in details of the time of our independence. That context may well prove useful as economic forces distract from the Progressive’s many little battles to demean serious questioners of Obama’s legitimacy. The more those who were successfully deterred in pursuing the relatively obscure truth learn of the meaning of citizenship used by our framers the easier it will be to for the public when the door is opened by some event. It is clear that that our Supreme Court and Military have joined legislators in surpressing the Constitution they have all sworn to defend and protect. But we pay them all, and we still have enough integrity of the voting mechanisms in enough states to replace those legislators - all of them.

Cmdr Kerchner and Mario Apuzzo educated many, and as well exposed the weakness, even the impotence of the Supreme Court in addressing Constitutional issues. Everything is politics now. The more people learn about our real history the easier it will be to ressurect the Constitution.

If you haven't linked your references to rsxid’s thread on natural born citizenship, I would encourage it. I'll look later and put in the link, because that thread compares favorably with Mario Apuzzo’s site for relevant content, and your Franklin reference is just another important confirmation of what we have learned through our own pursuit of the truth. The whole set of Franklin document is fascinating.

You have probably already seen the letter from Hamilton to Washington in 1790, when Hamilton was Treasury Secretary, in which Hamilton, discussed the various legal authorities he used to make decisions. Hamilton notes that Pufendorf says this and Grotius that, but ends with “But Vatel, perhaps the most accurate and approved of the writers on the laws of nations, preserves a mean between these different opinions.” This letter is noteworthy because Hamilton is using Washington's acceptance of Vattel to support his own position. He knows Washington agrees with him about Vattel. http://oll.libertyfund.org/?option=com_staticxt&staticfile=show.php%3Ftitle=1381&chapter=64375&layout=html&Itemid=27
