Obama and Assange have been in cahoots together before. Look at the connection with the Odinga election- when an Assange document leak saved Obama’s cousin Odinga.

It's unsettling that there is no credible investigation to how and who stole all those documents. Private First Class was instantly blamed for that and that was the end of it - no further interest to the matter...
Obama in particular is completely indifferent.

Not sure why we’re assuming this guy is telling the truth.

Dear Julian Assange...

Calling your bluff...Do it. If it is anything like your last releases you will hear the loudest yawn ever. You and your site bore us.

Considering he was able to buy hosing on Amazon’s server farm and used to own his own server farm- plus the amount of resources The Jester needed to take him down once, I doubt a simple ActiveX script will do much, and I am sure that Assange has some massive funding behind him (Soros?)

There’s one mother of a backstory here. I wish I had confidence is some journo/s getting to the bottom of it.

This thread has proof that BO is directly linked to WikiLeaks.

“Assange said last year that he had been leaked a computer hard drive from an executive at Bank of America and warned this month he was planning a major release on a large American bank.”

Isn’t funny that his site was shut down before the release A of B files.

That’s an understatement. This will give you something to start chewing on.

I am finding some interesting references to Assange in the 90s when he was messing with the NSA (by messing, I mean hacking). He referred to himself and was referred to in a lot of articles as a cryptographer, not a hacker. I am certain he may have been a foreign operative.

If I’m Putin I have my people pop this guy, though not with Polonium or ricin. We get the blame and suffer the consequences of whatever is in these files. Vlad gets rid of an annoyance and complicates life for US policies. Assange can’t be too smart if this thought hasn’t occured to him.

The odds are that ALL of it was distributed around the world before the first piece was posted.

If he dies, all of it will likely start apearing unstoppably from points all across the globe - faster than it could be pulled down. Each time it went up, more people would archive it and it would begin to spread wildly by sneaker net.

This is likely why he is not dead now.

I remember that in 2008 someone mentioned that Obama would not get a security clearance to have access to secret documents, but he is getting elected President and Commander in Chief.

Espionage is still one of the few internationally recognized capital crimes.

This problem should be solved with a Predator and a Hellfire.

But that would take stones, something the current administration is so’erly lacking.

This is true, but the intent isn't to take the site down, that is illegal and can get you into trouble.

100 people running this simple script can cost him a LOT of money and possibly irritate his hosting company enough to decide he isn't worth the money.

That's your position and it's technically correct. But I see it as anything that can make it more painful for him is a victory.

I let the script run overnight while I sleep and usually download well over 200GB just by MYSELF... and it costs me nothing. Imagine if 1000 people did that. The impact is a lot larger than you are making it out to be.
