Washington, D.C. - Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano today announced the expansion of the Department's national "If You See Something, Say Something" campaign to hundreds of Walmart stores across the country - launching a new partnership between DHS and Walmart to help the American public play an active role in ensuring the safety and security of our nation.

"Homeland security starts with hometown security, and each of us plays a critical role in keeping our country and communities safe," said Secretary Napolitano. "I applaud Walmart for joining the ‘If You See Something, Say Something' campaign. This partnership will help millions of shoppers across the nation identify and report indicators of terrorism, crime and other threats to law enforcement authorities."

The best defense against terrorists, both foreign and domestic, is the practiced hand of an armed citizen.

“I think if I see somebody assembling a bomb in the back of a truck, I wouldn’t just ignore it. I’m not sure why you responded the way you did.”

Wow you can perform the basics attributes of a good citizen!!! But you need the Chief Gate Rapist on a monitor in front of you to direct your actions?

The item was about the Rapist on monitors not whether “you” know shi.. from shinola. Yet you defend the Rapist? and her putting her butt ugly mug where it doesn’t belong?

You’re right, you don’t get it. Sheeple never do....watch out for the cliff.....take the rest of the sheeple with you. That would be a GREAT public service.

jes saying.

I wrote this nasty gram email to Wal-Mart:

I see that many Wal-Mart stores will soon begin running so-called "public service" announcements from the federal government at your check-out lanes. The title of the program is called "If you see something, say something" (this sounds like something you'd see in Communist Cuba, where neighbors spy on neighbors and report to the government). Given this current administration's attempts to paint many that disagree with their policies as "extremists" or potential "terrorists", while coddling (i.e., giving them the same right as citizens to be tried in our judicial system, etc.) our true enemies, middle eastern young males - who have committed the vast majority of terroristic acts around the world since the 1960's, I view this new "program" as government propaganda, and inappropriate to FORCE-FEED your customers. I want a pleasant and eifficient shopping experience - FREE FROM POLITICS - when I visit Wal-Mart, or any other retail establishment. If you go ahead with this ill-advised plan, I will discontinue shopping at Wal-Mart until this "program" goes away. The federal government, especially the current left-wing democrat-run iteration, has vastly expanded the scope and reach of the highest levels of government, so much so, that I would not have been surprised to start seeing large, idealized statues and pictures of our "dear leader" - Obama in public. WHY, given the fact that the federal government is spying on citizens, planning assasinations of citizens, groping and taking nude pictures of us at airports, splashing our radio and television with "public service" messages, etc., would YOU, a retail company, add to this over-reaching of their power and scope? It makes no sense. Please reconsider this "partnership" with the current congress and administration before there is a massive customer backlash against this ill-conceived relinquishment of your privately owned retail space to the federal government. Thank you.

We all need to express our disgust with this "partnership" in no uncertain terms at...

Aren’t you a little new here to be such an asshat? Usually, newbies are more polite, at least for a while.

Or maybe this is your first beer... right? Well, with time you’ll learn how not to be such an obnoxious drunk. Hang in there.

I’ve been here for 10 years next month ... nearly as long as you. And I agree ... with Boo. If I see a terrorist assembling a bomb ... I will call a cop BUT if I see a guy in Walmart peacefully wearing a side arm .. as I occasionally do, I WON’T call a cop like some hysterical idiot in Florida did last month.

Why would a guy wearing a sidearm be a problem? I do that too. I’m talking about ~suspicious~ behavior, not normal behavior. Some here would apparently just walk on by the bomb in a truck and figure it’s somebody else’s problem.

Pardon me if I got a little snippy. I do that sometimes when people wish I was dead.

Nappy Janet was talking about snitching on ALL suspicious behavior ... which is VERY relative. If I see something like a terrorist or other MAJORLY suspicious activity ... I would probably call a cop ... BUT thats not what Nappy Jan is talking about. Calling a cop over something minor that may or may not be anything is SNITCHING

Oh, nonsense. C’mon... look, I can’t stand Janet whatsername either, nor anybody is this godforsaken administration. They’re a bunch of idiots. But they’ve still got jobs to do, and as citizens we’ve got a role to play too. Just because that bozo Obama won the election it didn’t make me switch sides in the fight against muslim terrorists. I’m still rooting for our side. There’s simply nothing wrong with asking people to be vigilant. That’s where the first layer of intel comes from anyway. People see stuff that looks out of place, it gets reported, and each little piece starts to fall in place until suddenly they’ve got a good bead on, say... a newly created terror cell. That’s how it’s done. It’s not suddenly out of line just because the wrong people got elected.

It is the sheeple like Ramius who would support stupidity, just because, “hey more stupidity is better than less, right”, that provides cover for the excrements like the Chief Rapist and her Thug Usurper that will insert their controls into every fascist opening they can find.

He is absolutely clueless and as a sheeple is in fact a danger to the Republic.

On the down side their are millions like him. As I said before they need to leave my universe and quit polluting it with their slavish devotion to idiocy.
