Giving tax cuts to the rich is Republicans’ “holy grail,” President Obama said Tuesday.

“Let me say that on the Republican side, this is their holy grail, these tax cuts for the wealthy,” Obama told reporters. “It seems to be their central economic doctrine.”

The whole point when the GOP compromises is so the other side will say nice things about them. How did that work out?? They never learn do they?

I think one of the only ways we can illustrate to the American public that there were not tax cuts is to have someone as hated as Sarah Palin (by the left) make a press release or FB or something, that gets Maddow/Olberman and Anderson and the rest of the looney left to come out to attack her. By attacking what she is saying, they will have to at least acknowledge what she has said. AKA. THERE WERE NO TAX CUTS BY OBAMA or DEM CONGRESS!

First two years, blame it on Bush. Last two years, blame it on Republicans. He’s a child who cries and points.

I don’t think we are going to see much visibility from tax cuts in the normal 18 months or so it usually takes. Plus, this really isn’t a tax cut— it is a deferral of a tax increase.___________________________________________________

You are absolutely right. Extending the tax cuts will guarantee the unemployment numbers will drag on at 9%+ which will help Obama in 2012 with the permanently underclass and unemployed wanting his government handouts, provided by US tax payers with their own money.

Yes, we do believe that investment is a more vital component of economic growth than spending, Mr. President.

And our theory, unlike yours, is borne out by history.

1. Act like a clueless asshat.

2. Get clobbered for it in an election.

3. Act like a bigger asshat.

I just figured out his secret strategy.

The ‘doctrine’ is letting people keep what they earn, without artificial limitations. Remember when Obama said he’d decided that those working in financial institutions had made enough money? Has he decided How much is “enough”, and will his cap apply to himself, entertainers and athletes?

OOPS.. Extending the tax cuts will guarantee the unemployment .....

I goofed. I meant “extending the unemployment benefits will guarantee longer term unemployment, helpful to Obama in ‘12.

It’s not a tax cut for anyone. It’s a vote AGAINST a tax INCREASE. If the republicans aren’t screaming this to high Heaven for the next two years they’re dumber than I thought.

That the Left is apocolyptic over this deal, his base, and asks how many you know who regret voting for Obama? Plenty. How many voters have been won over by Obama? Zero. This equals one term.

True. One-term. The Dem Party is going to take an ever LARGER hit during the next House/Senate election in 2006.

Hussein is obviously engaging in a political Scorched Earthed agenda and pushing ALL his chips into the pot now.

Question: Can we withstand the damage his loony fascist Executive Orders, Czars, and RAT judges will cause during the next two years?

Notice he lies and says “wealthy” instead of the more accurate “high income earners”.

The wealthy billionaires could have 100% of their INCOME taxed next year and still be billionaires.

I guess he can’t help but lie... it’s his and his “father’s” native language (John 8:44).

That press conference really was fun to watch. Obama was about so close to loosing it. He has to lie so blatently to get thru it. Great fun!

Calling this “tax cuts” is EVERYWHERE, and the republicans are failing to counter 24/7 media perpetuating this lie. It’s so prevelant that I have goofed up myself. I do wish we had a better war room countering this propaganda within minutes of it hitting the air.

I hope the American people aren't so naive as to still buy the left's 'tax cuts for the rich' nonsense. There is no tax 'cut', just the continuation of the current tax rates and the so-called 'rich' ($250,000 + annual income) are not 'rich' by any sensible standard. Real rich people know how to protect their millions from the government maw. Obama's 'we can't afford it' line is another lie, writ large. Obama ignores the 60 billion-dollar price tag of extending employment benefits for millions of people, yet again. He balloons government spending then tries to blame Republicans for not agreeing to raise everyone's taxes to supposedly 'pay' for his spending insanity. Had Obama not shot the deficit into the stratosphere there would be no need for 'enhancing' government revenue. Cut spending. It can be done but only if the American people are ready to let go of some 'entitlements' and hold politicians accountable for their spending votes and not fall for the tired old 'tax cuts for the rich' garbage the left spews with impunity.

Since the media is left wing the only war room we could have is facebook and twitter.

Because Obama will not change. He will not learn from his mistakes. He will not grow and mature from on-the-job experience. In fact, over time, Obama will likely become a more ferocious version of who he is today.

Why? Because this is a damaged person. Obama’s fate was sealed years ago growing up in his strange and poisonous family. Later on, his empty vessel was filled with the hateful bile of men like Rev. Wright and Bill Ayers.

Obama will not evolve; he will not rise to the occasion; he will not become the man he was meant to be. This is for one reason and one reason alone:

He is not capable of it.
