I tend to agree.
Kennedy was a cultural icon who was liked. he gave us glamor and his family was something right out of Dallas. He and his wife were elegant with move star good looks and that is what people look at. Most people know full well that he was not that substantive.
I was a freshman in high school when this President died needlessly. I was in SHOCK. My parents had disagreed on who should they vote for, a CATHOLIC for heaven’s sake...my father said she cancelled out his voice ( She was a Catholic and he was a Baptist) but I thought we was GREAT and then he was gone.
I felt it was the loss of innocence in the US but I think it was my loss and I have never recovered completely from the loss.
I don’t care if he was left or right,someone killed OUR President and he was beautiful and so were we, and then?
