Sarah Palin arrived in Haiti on Saturday. Whether or not the earthquake-ravaged nation will throw her a tea party remains unknown.

The former Alaska governor and one-time GOP vice presidential candidate is visiting Haiti as a part of Rev. Franklin Graham's charity mission.

What the Mama Grizzly plans to do in Haiti remains unknown as details about the trip have been scarce. A spokeswoman for Graham's group cited security reasons for the lack of information, The Associated Press reported.

They have a whole separate section just to report on the Tea Party? But I thought the Tea Party Movement was a bunch of old racist white people?

That's to separate them from the other innocent section just in case they get busted for illegal operations. ; )

Isn’t it just too bad that everyone and their brother cannot learn every little move that Sarah makes. 99.9% of the people could care less about the mission relief work that Samaritans Purse is doing so stop getting your shorts twisted.

Boy - that is one ignorant remark.

All anyone has to do is read the paper to find out every little move Sarah makes...they give her an incredible amount of scrutiny...

And quite a bit of nonsensical rage:

Governor Palin going to Haiti with Reverend Graham is naturally news.

God bless Sarah Palin and Franklin Graham. Having said that, I wouldn't waste one second or one dime in Haiti. It's like making a missions trip to hell. Did Jesus free anyone while he was there? (Hell I mean, not Haiti. I doubt he's ever been to Haiti. (I have.)) Somalia also comes to mind. God does remove His blessings and I think Haiti is one of those places. While I don't begrudge anyone who goes there or sends money, I just think you are wasting your time and money better spent elsewhere. I think Mexico is not far behind Haiti and Somalia in this regard.

I wonder if she'll have a business lunch with Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton?

They've been there for months doing The Lord's work. . . Right?

That's fine with me. The German Army really did have an officer dedicated to tracking the progess of George Patton, too, just like in the movie.

You are right. Interesting that these failed collapsed states came into being and persisted only after the end of the Cold War. Previously, one side or the other would have raced in and propped up some strongman or another who was either ideologically friendly or could be reliably bought.

Made the world a more stable place, ironically.

This is literary musturbation and is repugnant at best. Do the idiots think this is funny or that people value such drivel? This was written by a worthless hack who understands that the Agenda, not the factual news, is what counts—if you want your paycheck, that is.

Haiti has been a country beset with problems for centuries.

Whether or not you believe it has anything to do with the pact with the devil, their problems began around that time.

Haiti's a country? /sarc

For what it's worth, I don't think that Haiti has ever merited the terms 'nation', or 'country'. Perhaps 'autonomous political territory' might be a better term to describe that hellhole.

They'd be better off as a state of another country, but who would have them?

There's only one answer for such a place, and that is to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps. Adopting the US Constitution as their own foundational charter would be the first step, in my opinion.
