Here are some photos of our yard after last night's storm. We got about a foot or so of snow. Perhaps 15 when it's all done. The winds up have gusts to and sometimes exceeding 50 miles an hour today. Post your photos and stories. Luckily no trees fell on wires or our house! And we didn't lose power.

How was your blizzard? We're hunkered down. Hubby cleared what he could out of the driveway and we will have to clean up in the spring. Happy winter everyone!

I am 30 miles west of Chicago. Quite windy and blustery and cold, but no snow or precipitation yet (3:00 P.M.).

Eastern New Mexico. No snow. Only got up to 48 degrees. Have fire in wood stove. Wore heavy jacket, and windpants to go outside. But we’re tough...

Looks like it does here! Beautiful, but the wind is really cold. The dog doesn’t much like going out today! lol
The power flickered but it came back on. I have friends in the West Bend area that were without electricity for awhile.

That last photo, looks like our house a couple years ago until we put up a snow fence. It’s just a mesh thing, but it really helps!
