The driver of a speeding SuperShuttle van left a trail of damaged vehicles as he fled at least six hit-and-run crashes along Interstate 66 and the Dulles Access Road on Monday morning, police said. Virginia State Police, Arlington County police and Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority police were trying to determine what led to the series of crashes from Arlington to Dulles International Airport about 9:30 a.m. The driver, whom police identified as Muhammad Teshale, 25, of Alexandria, was arrested outside the airport's main terminal after authorities found the damaged blue van. Teshale was charged with one count of hit and run in Fairfax County. Additional charges were pending.
Law enforcement officials close to the investigation said that the driver told police that he "did it to be famous." The man drove the shuttle at 90 to 95 mph at times on roads that have speed limits of 55 mph, officials said. The incident appears to have begun with three hit-and-run crashes along I-66 in Arlington about 9:25 a.m.
Corinne Geller, a state police spokeswoman, said that a blue SuperShuttle vehicle was heading west when it twice sideswiped the passenger side of a Dodge Charger. The shuttle then rear-ended a Chrysler Pacifica and a taxi, sending both vehicles off the highway. The driver of the Pacifica, a 33-year-old Centreville woman, and her year-old daughter were taken to Arlington Hospital with minor injuries.

Courtney Mickalonis, a spokeswoman for the airports authority, said two drivers on the way to the airport reported that their vehicles had been struck...

No picture at link - where did you see the pic? I’ll betcha he did this on purpose.
Sorry, I guess the Post took down his picture. Here’s another link. Of course he did it on purpose.
Muhammad Teshale? Don’t they know that the Amish don’t know how to drive?
Question: Would you hire this guy to drive an airport shuttle bus?
I stand by my “moron” characterization. It is frightening that someone at the State Department made a conscious decision to allow this person to enter our country.
After seeing his photo, I would have made a conscious decision to never board a shuttle he was driving.............
follow up question: would you get in a van with him behind the wheel ?
This guy reminds me of an old time cartoon character. But darned if I can remember.
Last time I was at Dulles, similar morons were working security inside the terminal at Dulles.
Not as long as I was breathing.
The media NEVER mentions Islam and jihad. Oops, an “Amish” did it! Case closed.
I have a real problem with those nasty-looking Halal beards, too. They are a silent religious/political statement that does not bode well.
Tell me about it. Like they went to “Mouthbreathers Anonymous” to recruit them.
The hillbilly in the Bugs Bunny cartoon where he does a square dance
Grab a fence post, hold it tight,
Womp your partner with all your might.
Hit him in the shin, hit him in the head,
Hit him again, the critter ain't dead.
Wop him low and wop him high,
Stick your finger in his eye.
Pretty little rhythm, pretty little sound,
Bang your heads against the ground.
Spontanious Jihad Syndrome....
Could be the little guy in ‘Lil Abner that walked around with a cloud over his head.
And probably in the country illegally to boot!
Oh, yeah, he did it on purpose. Thanks for the link.
