DM: “Refute that you democrat sympathizer.”

LibLieSlayer is one of the best conservative posters on FreeRepublic and you have no right to call anyone a “democrat sympathizer.” Around here, that’s what’s called a personal attack, otherwise known as against the rules. So you disagree with LibLieSlayer’s comments. OK, then refute the comments but stop with the other crap.

Go back to school and learn how the government is supposed to work and then do some research and see how it works today. You are nothing more than a brainwashed republicrat party hack.

Rather than read a “Bill” why doesn’t a conservative Senator take the floor like the odious Bernie Sanders and just talk about the greatness of America. Talking about the fact that the Govt. is to serve the people and not the other way around. Taxes come from the money people EARN. Democrats think that people who EARN more are greedy. Every American wants to do better for himself. Who are Democrats/Liberals to set themselves as judges over successful Americans? Any Republican who would stand and take up this cause in the Senate would get my vote for President.

I stand behind LibLieSlayer's reputation.

He's conservative.

....although, I will concede your point about Scott Brown. It was, after all, the seat that Ted Kennedy held. The symbolism of the Brown win, and the thing you mention about the Dream Act (which I agree is THE MOST CRITICAL bill to defeat in the next 20 days), make this an important Republican pickup.

That said, Brown is a ridiculous RINO.

I'd suspect getting Maine a pair of true conservative Senators would be more likely and useful, though.

“ABC News reports that Scott Brown has announced that he will support a stand-alone repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell,” ending the expulsion of gay and lesbian troops from the military. Brown’s decision gives Harry Reid 61 votes, enough to pass a cloture vote for the policy, and one final hurrah for the Democratic-controlled 111th Session — if he can fit it into the schedule:”

Now tell me again about how screwed up Conservatives were that talked bad about this fag lover?

DADT won't do nearly the damage that DREAM will. The militaries of 26 NATO countries admit homosexuals with no noticeable difference in effectiveness -- but the DREAM act is a horrible Trojan Horse that will prevent any Republican or Conservative wins from 2012 on out.

So I know what you are saying but we gotta grab what we can out of Ted Kennedy's old seat, ya know?

I agree... he is better than kennedy... but that does not limit our right to tell it like it is and point out just what kind of man brown truly is. Those of us that point out his massive failings should not be attacked for doing so... the truth is the truth. DADT is horrible... but the Omnibutt bill is worse... because it destroys what little is left of America. Revolution will happen when the scales tip too far left... and no sane person wants that to happen... and the fulcrum is almost at the point of no return. I know you know this... but I just had to say it all again.

He did state the Liblieslayer's claim and then refuted it.

Liblieslayer claimed the Republicans are more responsible for Hairy Reed than the Democrats ~ which is bizarre if nothing.

Hairy Reid isn't interested in a standalone bill because that could lose enough votes in the House to have it stopped there.

The real deal here is that homosexuals already get to serve in the military but they have to keep their mouths shut about it.

Removing DADT simply allows them to begin harrassing everybody else with homosexual comeons ~ these guys DO advertise and DO bother straight people.

They are such an uncommonly small minority (less than 1%) they work it all the time ~ and become quite obnoxious about it.

I'd be interested in why Senator Brown thinks it's good to have homosexuals soliciting sex all the time in the military. Is this what he couldn't do, or what? Just what is his angle. And this guy can't tell me he hasn't been around them.

How is my reasoning flawed? Here is what I am talking about... Senator cornyn postures and pontificates about the evil of earmarks in this omnibus bill... he lambasts dims for promoting this heavily earmarked bill... then he is challenged because he himself fought for and won 28 earmarks for his state... scheming in this bill for over a year... along with Senator Porkulus cochran, who is the largest beneficiary of porked up earmarks... and cornyn counters by stating that he will vote against it this bill... once again he is asked why he porked it up with his own greed... he then says that he has answered the question and slithers off the stage in shame. He knows that this bill is going to pass and all he is doing is posturing just like kerry does. The republicans may not be the creators of all of this communism but they certainly are enablers, allowing it to become the law of the land. Some of you blame this on lack of courage... I blame it on lack of character and conservative ideology. There is nothing bizarre in my statement and I have backed my statement with example and logic.

The total dollar value of the earmarks is not very large in comparison to other budgetary expenses.

My complaint against earmarks is that they waste limited Capitol Hill staff time piddling around concocting ways to stick more of them in.

Arizona probably does need a very large rattle snake cage, but folks in Virginia really shouldn't pay for it, and the folks Indiana who have even more rattle snakes than Arizona (and more species of them) have learned to step around them so they don't need to pay for them either.

Congress should be busy doing the nation's business, not just the piddly little stuff their districts want. SCREW THEIR DISTRICTS!

I agree... and I have friends serving now that say that they grab arse in the showers and are a distraction. The Commandant of the Marine Corps has said as much... and says he does not want his Marines dying because of this distraction. I predict lethal results for fags in combat... for themselves and those having to serve with them.

We are not in disagreement at all... but these political animals vowed to stop this garbage... campaigned on stopping the “business as usual” but then they are showing themselves to be no better than those that they run against. It all starts at the leadership... and the republican leadership is just as corrupt and evil as are their counterparts in the rat party. I have ZERO faith in the republican leadership... and therefore no faith that the party as a whole will do anything but continue with business as usual. I pray that I am wrong... will be happy to admit it if I am... but to date... all evidence supports my contention. Other than that... I agree with your points completely.

The folks who campaigned to put an end to "this" didn't all win. However, we now have 6 more Republicans in the Senate than we had before and we will be taking total overwhelming KICK "EM IN THE PANTS control of the House at the end of the current term at noon on January 3.

And not a second before.

BTW, not all the Republicans campaigned on whatever it is you imagined they campaigned on. They would have if Chairman Steele had more control over the campaign funds, but everybody was busy cutting him and the RNC out of the loop and doing direct contributions ~ much of that going to LOSERS.

Then there are the CRAZY PEOPLE. Remember Jim Webb? He used to be a Republican. He got fired by Ronaldus Magnus for indolence and stupidity. Now he's a gun toting Democrat ~ still crazy as a loon.

Add to him that Murkowski woman ~ she's even crazier than she was before ~ and all she represents is BIG OIL! Has no interest in anything else, and if it were up to her she'd have the US taxpayers paying for the rigs in Alaska!

We don't know, because he won't tell us. The Senate has asked for the full negotiating record, but the White House refuses to release it

Reid shot back, "It's offensive to me and millions of working Americans for any senator to suggest that working through the Christmas holiday is sacrilegious or disrespectful."

The latest handout is for millions of Americans who don't/won't work.
