I just got off a conference call with Christian Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) who said Harry Reid (D-NV) may push for a Senate vote today or tonight to homosexualize our military.
Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) hinted she's poised to betray conservatives today, and Senator Scott Brown (R-MA) also came out in favor, making the whip count 61, so we need a miracle or 2 Democrats to vote "no."
Everybody call Senator James Webb (D-VA, 202-224-4024) and say these words: "Please filibuster Senate Bill 4022 and stop the homosexualization of our military, or we will score your vote and fax it to every Christian pastor in your state, and donate to your primary opponent next election."
Then call all 6 of Webb's state Senate offices: Danville: 434-792-0976, Hampton Roads: 757-518-1674, Northern Va: 703-573-7090, Norton: 276-679-4925, Richmond: 804-771-2221, Roanoke: 540-772-4236.
Senator Mark Pryor (D-AR, 202-224-2353) is up for re-election in two years in a Southern state, where voters just threw out liberal Blanche Lincoln. Call his DC office above, and let's call Pryor's little rock office too: 501-324-6336.
Murkowski said: "With the tax package out of the way, and legislation to fund the government on a glide path to passage, Sen. Murkowski will vote to move to DADT when it is brought to the floor." Brown spokesperson Gail Gitcho said: "Sen. Brown accepts the Pentagon's recommendation to repeal the policy after proper preparations have been completed. If and when a clean repeal bill comes up for a vote, he will support it."

If Reid calls for a vote that means that he has enough to pass it.
If it is passed, the destruction of the military as a fighting organization begins.
But this comes as no surprise to those of us that voted against obama in 2008. Nor is it a surprise to those that voted for “hope and change” in 2008.

I don't sleep with my co-workers, I don't sit in foxholes with them, and I don't have to participate in hand-to-hand combat with them. In fact, physical contact at work is not acceptable, unlike the military where it's part of the job.

This is a done deal and we all know it.
Reality: DADT protects homosexual service as long as the soldier is discrete and does not walk around announcing his/her homoseuality and/or holding his/her same-sex friend’s hand—or worse.
Repealing DADT, IMO, will result in making homosexuals more vulnerable to verbal and/or physical abuse.
Heteros are proscribed from any unbecoming behavior while in uniform —both on and off post/base. This includes sexual misbehavior. Not sure what homosexuals gain here. I guess repealing DADT would open up military housing and benefits to homosexual couples. That, of course would be big for them. Unfortunately it may also make them targets .
If this passes, every man and woman who enlisted under DADT should be offered the option of separating from the military on honorable conditions. Then we’ll see how much support repealing it gets.

There are a ton of gays already serving in the military and all of us have worked with gays in our own jobs, knowingly or not. Corporate America has not come tumbling down because of gays in it’s work force, and neither will the military. If the military can’t handle this, then they sure can’t be strong enough to fight a war.

Actually the old rules regarding Homosexual behavior are still in place, the DADT rules simply kept anyone from asking anyone about it or actively investigating it. A gay person was still kicked out if he/she outed themselves or behaved in ways publically that left no doubt. Getting rid of DADT allows the old rules to come back in full force.
Another words, the homo libs outsmarted themselves. They will have to have laws passed that state that homosexuals are to be allowed into the military.... the UCMJ literally needs to be changed!

DADT may get repealed, but the UCMJ(uniform code of military justice) still forbids homosexuality....I’m not sure what the Gays gain here. Recruiters again will be able to ask up front if a prospective recruit is gay and backgrounds can again be checked. The UCMJ code needs to be changed, which I would hope it doesn’t!
