As a Mom and careprovider of a quad adult son I am all for disabled folks getting out and doing what they want with their lives.

So I was a happy to see a fellow quad have a job at FOX news commentators job.

However the more I listen to this guy the more of a realist I become that regardless of ones hurddles to aspire to a fuffilling life that doesn’t mean one can’t be a jackass in his opinions.

Kraut has not jumped the shark, he is getting senile!!! Poor fellow, all that smarts and no pragmatic, street smart, common sense. Oh, yea, Charlie boy, Obama to get re-elected. Is that the same re-election Obama and Bill Clinton promised what would happen to “Blue Dog” Democrats if they voted for Obama care. Sorry, Charles, you are a nice man, but you ain’t with the program.

“...The other side is feeling desperate.  All their power amounts to a false front.

This is the time for conservatives to go for victory.”

-Yep.

Thanks very much, antceecee, and I still look forward to Krauthammer’s remarks on the Fox New Channel. I think he has a great mind and vocabularly, but I’ve noticed he’s been *off* quite anumber of times, in recent months, and not just with US politics. He went after Geert Wilders and that surprised me. Now he seems to be trying to *back-burner* conservative issues, like LIFE, for one golden example, in favor of his candidate, Mitch Daniels. No thanks. Let Governor Daniels make clear his own case regarding *social issues* if he chooses to run.

Right. We conservative will choose our own candidate, provided we get enough closed primaries.

I am very disappointed in Krauthammer. He seems to have become just one more propagandist for the powers that be.

Is this photo the real-deal? It's hilarious and something you would expect from a guy that thinks Austrian is a language.

Yep. 24/7 Beltway. “hoity-toity” all. I think they must talk to please one another, because they’re sure not talking to us.

Everyone here wants to shoot the messenger...much better to look at the message:

The greatest mistake Ronald Reagan’s opponents ever made — and they made it over and over again — was to underestimate him. Same with Obama.

What is wrong with warning people to watch out? (exactly what Kruthammer is saying)

Obama was smart enough to beat Hillary ...he was smart enough to win the election he has gotten dam near everything he has tried to get so far

I would say that is a dangerous man

While I’ve been a tad ticked off at the Kraut recently, I have to say this is a good article, and it could very well pan out to be true.

Gosh...I hate saying that!

The president is a very smart man.

Even Charlie spouts this mantra.

My stomach turns whenever I hear this statement.

Charles, there is a difference between smart and devious.

And how can people equate 'smart' and 'brilliant' with someone who can't string two words together without a written script provided for them to parrot off teleprompters?

Lately, Krauthammer has been dropping some bizarro statements. I have liked and admired him for years but the question now begs: Is he losing it or is he a 'sleeper" - now being activated?

er, I think some ppl are over playing the reason why Clinton won 2nd term. He won because of third party

OMG - yes! We forgot that - Perot put him in office. He never even made it to 50%. (And Perot got LOTS of lucrative gov't contracts. I always posited that he was a ringer.

Don't be surprised if they pull that playbook out again. Whoever we run, we better be sure they are so outstanding that they can beat 2 others. No establishment candidate this time - no 'Dole"

He’s an elitist; the same flavor as Noonan, Rove, Romney etc. Some of his columns are very good but truly, since the election, I don’t read too much of his stuff anymore. He was an ass about O’Donnell and has been an ass about Palin (IIRC) and that doesn’t come from any substance; it just comes from elitism.

BEARS REPEATING - the whole ball of wax. We aught to start calling them the "Hoity Toities". Sarah gave us the label. Let's use it 'til it sticks. Even the Sheeple would get it...and take what they say with a dismissive chuckle. The "Hoity Toities" are deathly afraid of the REAL people, like O'Donnell and Palin. They look upon them - and US - as the great unwashed who are threatening their obvious enlightened realm and inherent superiority. They suffer from a latent 'ruling class' gene.

Now HERE'S a "Class Warfare" we should perpetuate: WE the People against the Hoity Toities. (I am serious. I made my living in advertising and marketing. This would resonate with the people and we could finally put 'the establishment' out to pasture.)

Thanks, SARAH!

"Despite this, some on the Right are gloating that Obama had been maneuvered into forfeiting his liberal base. Nonsense. He will never lose his base. Where would they go?"

Put down the bong, Charles, the base will go where all ideologue fanatics go when they don't get their way. They will go home and stay home right thru election day.
