This is a great one that should be printed out and pasted to utility poles all over the land.

There are jobs out there. I get at least one call every other week from a headhunter looking to fill a software QA job.

I keep wondering why I do what I do. If I sold everything and gathered up all my accounts, I could probably do better as a rent seeker, rather than a producer.
The ROI would be greater and I’d have less headaches.

“Politicians just don’t get it.”

You would sh*t if you realized how many WORKING people don’t understand this, even the guy who “works his ass off for you” for a few years wants to make more than you do. He isn’t there, of course, every night doing the books, checking the marketplace for competitors, looking for weak spots in the market, thinking about how you’re gonna make payroll or spending Sunday getting the computers running right and/or doing “the zombie walk” through Office Depot picking up the crap that you need so everything can keep humming ... or spending three or four hours Sunday night getting ready for the week ahead ... because if you don’t, everything comes to a halt. You’re the boss and you get to profit off the “sweat of his brow.” And he’s always smarter than you.

Who do you think votes in “the Politicians” to get away with this shit? Go Gault, young man, go Gault. It’s the best.

Yes politicians do get it. This is by design. They want this to happen. It happened under FDR. This is FDR 2/Mugabe.

You even have idiots on FR bashing LTC Lakin and they are talking about “the law.” What law? There is no law. We have “no standing.”

I know, in the bad years you don’t even make near minimum wage, but you’ve supported the government and the bank.

Sometimes I think we’d be better off as part-time Walmart greeters.

Of course, the unemployed are lazy parasites who would rather be on the dole than work.

Just want to be consistent with the Freep attitude.

If I’ve heard this once, I’ve heard it one hundred times for employees, “I do all the work and you/they get all the money.”

I think that the FReep attitude came about naturally. When times were good and the economy was booming, there was no reason someone who wasn’t disabled couldn’t work unless they were gaming the system.

You can’t say that now, times are different and willing workers with good skills can’t find jobs.

The problem with this argument is that it ignores that many other countries are generating jobs, notably Germany.

Many of these countries, again notably Germany, have significantly higher taxes and more barriers to entry than America does.

Obviously the author has hit on part of the reason for our financial problems, but equally obviously there are other factors that explain the financial success of other countries which are an even more difficult environment for businesses.

Did you watch his video?

The end of the world as we know it is right around the corner according to Porter Stansberry

http://www.stansberryresearch.com/pro/1011PSIENDVD/PPSILC38/PR

He has a way of breaking it down that will give you the chills. He warns that other countries are getting together to end the status of the dollar as the reserve currency. Having that status was the only reason we have not yet collapsed.

He talks about the meeting to which we were not invited where countries have begun working together to start a new currency. Coincidentally...
