Gay troops unleash emotions at end of long fight (Kick the RINOs out of the GOP!)

The gay Army lieutenant's heart had been racing all night.

Shuffling between meetings at his outpost in eastern Afghanistan on Saturday night, the 27-year-old officer kept popping his head into the main office to catch a glimpse of Fox News's coverage of the Senate debate that led to a vote lifting the ban on gay men and lesbians serving in the military openly.

"Don't cry," a 21-year-old specialist, one of the lieutenant's confidants, told his boss jokingly when news broke that 65 senators had voted to repeal "don't ask, don't tell."

"I'm completely numb," was all the lieutenant could mutter.

Across the world, other gay troops whose lives, careers and relationships have been indelibly, if sometimes quietly, shaped by the ban reacted to the news with a mixture of rapture and disbelief.

“”Don’t cry,” a 21-year-old specialist, one of the lieutenant’s confidants” said.

I bet he is happy to serve under him. I love it when they put in all the straight lines for me.

Sure glad this moron was giving full attention to his mission over there.

From the article:

“The stakes were also high for the specialist. His brother is gay and had vowed to join the Air Force if the policy were repealed this year. Their father is also gay, which made attending military events somewhat awkward for the family.”

“It just made for a weird situation,” he said.

Don’t cry. Now the law pertaining to Sodomy in the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) does not apply to you. You can do anything you want now. The Senate, the President and the Military Brass all know this is a “great day” for our war-fighters...Next they need to overturn the laws in place that restrict all deviant behavior. Wasn’t that the message just sent to our troops and the world? Idiots. Wikileaks is the tip of the iceberg for these politically correct fools. You think a gay is loyal to serve or loyal about trolling for more deviant sexual contact. Hey Joe Lieberman...why are you smiling so much about this? You moron. Now Obama can appoint an openly gay CNO, Commandant and Joint Chief and they will obey Obama’s commands to wage war against the US heterosexual population.

§ 925. Art. 125. Sodomy
(a) Any person subject to this chapter who engages in unnatural carnal copulation with another person of the same or opposite sex or with an animal is guilty of sodomy. Penetration, however slight, is sufficient to complete the offense.
(b) Any person found guilty of sodomy shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

His brother and father are gay and he thinks the military events are awkward... Really? This has got to be a joke.

"I feel that I'm passed over [for promotion] because I am gay."

West Point Army captain who resigned from active duty this spring after wrestling for years with deprivation, loneliness and half-truths.

Speechless, with a sick feeling in the pit of my gut.

"The majority of younger, rank-and-file guys will be fine with it," said Marine Capt. Tom Garnett, who is straight and a reservist at a Virginia law school. "But we are a conservative service, and one angry Marine makes a lot more noise than 30 ambivalent Marines."

There will not be 30 aqmbivalent Marines. I've rarely encountered a Marine who was ambivalent about anything. More likely, they will be seething with quiet anger.

By the 2012 elections we'll know the impact repealing DADT has had in each branch of military service. I don't think it is the loud, angry people who will teach us. It will be the quiet ones with families who just might not sign those reenlistment papers next time.

If someone came down from another planet and just watched our media they would imagine that fully half of our population was homosexual. And they would probably wonder where all of the babies were coming from.

Maybe it's me but this situation was weird without DADT

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =Confidants.....Is that what they are calling ‘them’ these days?
The statement alone would be enough to bring fraternization charges against both ===BUT you can’t trust what the press prints anymore, more than likely the ‘writer’ was trying to be cute/coy in the same breath.

Guess both of them went back to the barracks to ‘celebrate’ their victory.
I hope so...
Then they will be able to bounce the both of them.

Or is their a difference in ‘their kind’ fraternizing than ‘regular people’.

If a ‘straight’ LT had been involved in this story, the way it is being presented, there would have been some Office Hours waiting for them.

I predict that by the 2012 elections the head of the Joint Chiefs will be a limp wristed, cross dressing faggot. Obama will see to that.

Since, DumBO has made sure I have time off from pursuing a wage, I have time to become resident in other states for the purpose of ensuring certain people have no ability to destroy the country.

In that vane, how long must I live in Maine to establish residency to vote?

Here is what I don’t understand. I am against this wholeheartedly for other reasons, but what I don’t get is, why would someone who knows they are going into combat situations care about whether the dude next to him has a nice ass?

If you are willing to fight and die for your country, I would think sodomy is the last thing someone is interested in. The US military isn’t a dating service. There is a mission and first and foremost that mission has to be followed.

Now my problem with this is twofold. The first is AIDS. I am not going to stick my hands in a wounded soldiers gut, knowing that I can contract a disease and die because of a lifestyle choice.

The second is this is being done to homosexualize the bureaucracy. Just like the municipal unions and other government agencies. You control the infrastructure you control the system.
