So, how many people does SK need to kill in order to even it up with NK? There’s the torpedoed boat, a few shots fired across a border(?) and then the recent shellings that killed a few. How many others, and what’s the total death toll?

I as just getting ready to go to bed. You’d think they could be more considerate of those of us on the east coast when they start this stuff.
Yup, looks like the crisis was diffused this time around. Dunno how much food aid and fuel oil we gave up, but for now it appears a deal has been struck.
South Korea will go through with a short live fire drill to safe face and we will all go back to waiting for the next time North Korea acts out.
It’s a previously “announced” live fire exercise on the part of South Korea - as delayed by heavy fog.

South Korea just said it will not allow or accept those agreements.
I certainly hope that SK won’t respond like they did last time, it just encourages more.
I know what it is, I’m wondering how many people they have to hit to tie up the score.

Well, since NK talks big about killing all of So. Koreans with their nuclear threat, I would guess around 200 million on both sides would even it up!
But - not to worry, the UN has this situation well under their control! With the strength of the UN, no harm will come to even the worms migrating across the DMZ!
