One of the Senate's top Democrats is predicting the chamber will approve a new nuclear arms control treaty with Russia, despite Republican opposition to what is one of President Barack Obama's top foreign policy goals.
New York Sen. Charles Schumer says Democrats have now picked up the support of GOP Sen. Thad Cochran of Mississippi, and he said he believes Democrats can get the 67 votes the Constitution requires to ratify a treaty.

Sounds like RevAl is talking about himself as a racist being allowed to put his biased views over the airwaves. He is one of the most racist, inflamatory individuals I have ever heard on the radio or TV, and his right of free speech has crossed the line and should be curtailed.

It is very disappointing to hear that you will be voting yea with the Democrats to pass the New Start treaty. You don’t get it yet, do you? What have the Democrats promised you for your yea vote? This treaty is not in the best interests of the U.S. and is an attempt to disarm the U.S. completely and makes no strategic sense.
There is absolutely no reason to have this treaty fast tracked through the Senate at this time. It can wait until the next congress; there is no need to rush to a vote on this now. Ask yourself why Sen. Reid is courting you for this vote.
Why don’t you just come home to Mississippi and forget this vote. We loyal Mississippians and Americans will bring you back home to Mississippi with our vote if you vote yea on this.

Actually, 58 dems w/indies... but they'll probably get at least 11 GOPers -- the same 8 whores who voted to lift DADT, plus Lugar (IN), Corker (TN) and Cochran (MS).
BTW, none of those proponents of the START has made a salable case as to why this is good for America.
My prediction: With these 69, along with the requisite 2+ hopping on the bandwagon, START passage gets 71+ votes.
