There are times when I think Switzerland may be the best nation on Earth. I visited in 1995. They certainly have the scenery to qualify.
They have some quirky laws, though...for example, motorsports of any kind are illegal there. Speeding fines can be downright draconian. OTOH, the tax laws are pretty good.
