Everyone hated Bush for his policies, but what have we gained through his absence? Did we somehow correct his misdeeds? ... or have we have doubled down on many of the lost freedoms and liberties? We are well on our way to becoming a Police State, if we have not already arrived. Take from your neighbor because he has been successful and you have not; he has much to be thankful for and you have little. A large percentage of my earnings are taxed to support million dollar and billion dollar corporations that are too big to fail, yet if I make a million dollars they want to tax me because I am too wealthy? Welcome to bizarro America, where the former inhabitants have been transformed into socialist-inspired zombies.

It is the truth that the Communist Party has in the past and may still be using the Democrat Party as a vehicle to advance their goals.
Back in the late 1940’s, there was a major schism in the Minnesota DFL (Democratic-Farm-Labor) party. There was a sizable contingent of Communists who were active in the party.
At the time, Hubert Humphrey and Eugene McCarthy (old school liberals) embarked on a 4 year battle to purge Communists from the ranks of the DFL. By all historical accounts, it was a protracted battle that resulted in acts of violence occurring on several occasions.
Hubert Humphrey disliked Communism enough that while a member of the US Senate, he proposed a bill to ban to Communist Party.
But as time has moved on, it has become apparent that people of a strong leftist bent have reinfiltrated the American Democrat party. Way back when, they were not welcomed and were purged. Nowadays, they seem to feel quite at home.
