U.S. intelligence chief draws blank on London terror plot

That's why U.S. Director of National Intelligence James Clapper is having a very bad day Wednesday. Clapper appeared to draw a blank when ABC's Diane Sawyer asked him about the arrests hours earlier of 12 men accused of plotting an al-Qaida-type attack in London.

What, Me Worry? YOU BETCHA!

Mark Steyn mentioned this on Rush's show this morning. Between this goon, Nepalincompetano and the RINO's selling us out, I'm starting to think 2012 will be wa-a-ay too late.

I wonder if Clapper is feeling a little crabby after this snub...

Recommend this guy be terminated to reduce the deficit ASAP.
The guy, if you saw the interview, is as brain dead as 24/7 364 days a year Big Sis was in the same interview.

If you have a desire to get really mad, go look at the article on the Yahoo site. They manage to include a slam on Sarah Palin right after the second paragraph. All in the name of net neutrality I suppose.

The scary thing is that it appears that NEITHER of these 3 stooges are IN COMMUNICATION with their COUNTERPARTS in the U.K.

Very scary.

Head of intelligence has no clue what is going on around the world much less one of our closest allies and with Zero signing the DADT bill allowing homos in the service I feel so much more safer now. /s

I saw two guys on CNN earlier defending this clown.
They said he had had a long day and besides, there was nothing he could have done about it ... sooooo no big deal.

There’s plenty of valid reasons to criticize the dim administration. This isn’t one of them. The arrests had nothing to do with Clapper’s job.

Notice THIS stuck right in the middle of the story...

[Related: Palin gaffe makes North Korea an 'ally']

...as if there is some sort of equivalency between Sarah's slip of the tongue (quickly corrected) and Clapper's outright cluelessness.

This is unbelievable. General Clapper was a career intelligence officer. How the hell did he let this one slip by him?

So having a news channel ambush him is perfectly fine? He is the Director of National Intelligence. He should know this stuff before ABC gets ahold of it, no?

He has no excuse.

We are being governed by naive children.

He was too busy getting re-educated with sensitivity training to be bothered with something like this.
