Surely with so many terror plots developing around the world in recent days, it's understandable that someone might miss one, right? Well, for ordinary Americans, sure -- but you're held to a different standard if you're the head of U.S. intelligence.
That's why U.S. Director of National Intelligence James Clapper is having a very bad day Wednesday. Clapper appeared to draw a blank when ABC's Diane Sawyer asked him about the arrests hours earlier of 12 men accused of plotting an al-Qaida-type attack in London.

If you have a desire to get really mad, go look at the article on the Yahoo site. They manage to include a slam on Sarah Palin right after the second paragraph. All in the name of net neutrality I suppose.
The scary thing is that it appears that NEITHER of these 3 stooges are IN COMMUNICATION with their COUNTERPARTS in the U.K.

There’s plenty of valid reasons to criticize the dim administration. This isn’t one of them. The arrests had nothing to do with Clapper’s job.

...as if there is some sort of equivalency between Sarah's slip of the tongue (quickly corrected) and Clapper's outright cluelessness.
How would him knowing help him obtain intelligence and get it processed?
He should know everything, whether or not it has any application.
