***FACE IT FOLKS: America And The GOP Won All The Big Ones***
Stardate: 1012.23

Posted on 12/23/2010 3:33:04 AM PST by The Wizard

I think if we had a different media the headline would be the one above.....DREAM ACT: failed to pass; Tax increases failed to pass; 1.1 trillion pork bill that including obamacare failed to pass....

We must not allow the whores in the media to lie about what happened.....moogly is a liar and never intends to follow START, and the next president, especially if it's Sarah, will sign repeals on obamacare DADT and everything other bastard thing done by this crook and his minions

Indeed, If I was advising Sarah, Madam President, I would tell her to run on what she will repeal....what agencies, FCC, EPA, etc, she will limit, and on and on....

Let her run on restoring America to it's rightful place in the world, as a GOAL to live up to, a leader in doing the right things for the right reason.....

That's platform enough.

And I'd start lining up the people I want to help me RIGHT NOW

The DADT repeal was a big one. Damaging our military at any time is unacceptable. Damaging our military at a time of war is unconscionable. Liberalism is a disease.

With all due respect, you are dreaming

We lost big. That Compromise sucked, and cost us a Trillion dollars. .

Once DADT is implemented, there is no way to put the Geni back in the jar.Same thing goes for Obamacare unless they can starve it in some way.

How can anyone believe that McConnell will be a pillar of strength after the way he folded.

The repeal of DADT has much farther reaching consequences than nearly any other legislation passed by this administration except for Obamacare, and maybe even that (since there is always a possibility it will not be implemented as they want it to be)

This may sound melodramatic to some, but the biggest long term problem here is that this is a part of a concerted efforts by liberals to destroy the military and normalize homosexuality, with the emphasis on normalizing homosexuality.

From a simple national security/military standpoint, I think that most people don’t understand the threat that open homosexuality poses to security, and it was highlighted in the Wikileaks incident.

Everyone is saying “How did this low level enlisted guy get his hands on so much classified material?” The simple explanation (and usually the right one) is that the security clearance and storage systems are so mangled, underfunded and poorly implemented that if it hadn’t been this guy, it could have been a thousand other people.

But another explanation could be a homosexual affair with someone who had higher clearance, coupled with blackmail. It is probably the oldest espionage trick in the book.

Supporters of repealing DADT maintain that if homosexuality is normalized, this type of vulnerability will disappear because there will be no official stigma associated with it.

The problem with that view is that most people understand homosexuality is a perversion and not a normal, natural situation. Even if it is accepted by some governing agency (like the military) there are ALWAYS going to be people engaging in homosexuality who don’t want anyone to know, their families, friends, workplace, etc.

On a non-security/non-military level, this is simply a great, big, huge wedge, societally and legally, a massive bulldozer by the homosexual community to legitimize homosexuality and homosexual marriage.

If they win on this, every single piece of legislation out there that is viewed as unfair or limiting in some way by homosexual activists will fall like a house of cards, and they damn well know it. It will set a legal precedent for all aspects of society to be forcefully accessible to open homosexuality, from Scoutmasters and elementary school teachers to the Oval Office.

I agree that Sarah will repeal everything but DADT. I think she was for this. I don’t have proof so don’t ask but she has not said anything about it at all. She is against gay marriage at least.

No one in MSM seems to want to address another big strike against Obama in 2010 - the failure to pass Cap n’ Tax.

“I don’t have proof so don’t ask but she has not said anything about it at all.”

I haven’t heard anything out of any conservative political leader outside of the congress (with the exception of talk radio) about the repeal of DADT or any of the other crap being rammed through the lame duck session. It’s quite bizarre and I don’t know what to make of it. Perhaps we got snookered for the purpose of winning an election and then picthed off the nearest pier.

Though not in favor of gay marriage I believe Mrs Palin has a 'live and let live' attitude towards homosexuals. She mentioned in her first book a lesbian who is a friend of hers. (This might get her zotted if she were signed on at this site)
She, more than likely, takes a Christian approach to the subject, yet I wouldn't ever expect to see her marching along in a 'gay day' parade.

Well stated, if a homosexual can die for his Country, how can we deny that person Xxxxxxxx!
The repeal of DADT is not about Homosexuals serving in the Military

I hate carrying around this bucket of cold water but I don't think Sarah Palin will get the nomination because she is too polarizing and irritates too many people. It is certainly true that ex-governors make the best presidents but Sarah quit and that will bite her in the butt eventually. The main stream press will keep pouncing on her which will drive away independents - whom we NEED! I think a guy like Chris Christy will suddenly take on a new life and people will see him as the right person for the job. He's tough, he's knowledgeable, he knows how to get things done. I think he'll be the one.

Christie is not what you think. He sounds good on some things but he supports gun control and a path to citizenship for illegals.

Christie conservative myths

Be wary

I’ll throw in the requisite “with all due respect”, but frankly you have your pointy-headed magic hat firmly ensconced up your Biden . . . The GOP are completely worthless POS’s. Anyone who thinks anything is going to change is flat out nuts! The American voter hands the democrats a good ol’ fashion ass-whoopin in Nov. and what do they do? They connive, conspire and act like they’re the ones who won the friggin election! They unify and hand Obambi his biggest wins in his 2 years. As “lame ducks” they managed to do what 2 centuries plus of worthy enemies could not do; destroy the US military. As much as I detest dems/liberals, in the knife-fight that is American politics, they bring AK-47s while repubs brink plastic sporks. . .

And where are the republicans? Still making sure that “my good friend, Senator X” doesn’t think to poorly of them. In fact, the repubs basically said, I’ll vote for all your initiatives to show “my good friend” how we can “work together” like reasonable, political masters. Because “Merlin”, in case you didn’t notice, republicans and democrats will always have one important thing in common . . .they both HATE the base of the “republican” party.

If you want change, I recommend picking up Spanish, saving a chunk of change and buying yourself a nice little corner of paradise in Costa Rica.

Adios,
