Oh- I know, though many indeed have been calling the NFL those names and more. And to be quite honest- the NFL has become a femanized entity.

Spoken by some one who lives where they have snow plows.

I have noticed that yankees don’t drive any better on unplowed, unsalted, roads than the local rubes do in the south. It is amazing how much easier it is to get around if they get the snow off the road.

Ya see, I like the unplowed roads much better. When the plow comes throw and drops the salt down, it just refreezes and leaves a thin coat of unmanagable ice behind. I’d much rather barrel my V8 Cherokee through a few inches of fresh snow. Much better traction than with ice.

BTW, I live way out in the sticks. Our street is at the bottom of the plow truck’s list. Fortunately, everybody around here has a 4X4.

Indeed. We played outside. We didn’t play WELL, but we played outside.

What effect will this have on Philadelphia next week. They will have only time for a game plan and a walk through. If they need to win next week to sew up home field advantage, they will be likely to be in for more injuries, a worse showing than normal.

yep, that works until it is about 16 inches deep and then you bottom out with your tires off the road.

It is amazing how many 4x4’s end up like that on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It takes a lot of digging to get out that after you slide about 100 feet down a hill on your muffler.

From Mrs. GAB, who is an NFL fan and who was raised in Philly and then moved to the Finger Lakes: The City of Philadelphia did the right thing. Traffic would have been the issue. If you’re concerned that this shows a lack of toughness or of masculinity, you can take that and (do something with it uncomfortable). Nobody needs to turn in their man card, or if you do have to because of this, your man card wasn’t worth getting in the first place.

The plows get to us long before things get that out of hand. If not the township, all the neighbors with plows get to it.

I just took a drive around town for about an hour. The roads had four or five inches on them, wind blowing everything sideways, next to no visibility and nothing but snow mobiles and quads buzzing around. Perfect driving weather. I love this stuff.

The Vikings learned a painful lesson last night. The lesson is, as soon as you bench Brett Favre, you’ll start winning games.

I agree. It was the right thing to do.

The chest thumping here about how moving the game to Tuesday is unmanly is no doubt being parroted by media infatuated girlie men trying to seem tough.

There's nothing manly about putting 70,000 men, women, and children at risk by playing a sporting event during a natural disaster. A real man knows his priorities.
