Serbia has asked the International War Crimes Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) to open an investigation into a top Danish diplomat Søren Jessen-Petersen, claiming that UNMIK covered up a report on the trade in human organs, according to the newspaper Blic.
Jessen-Petersen headed the United Nations UNMIK operation in Kosova from 2004 to 2006. According to the report UNMIK representatives denied having seen a report on the subject, but Serbian authorities have now questioned the claim.
In 2008, our prosecutors came into possession of 16 pages from this report, says Serbian Minister for Cooperation with the ICTY Rasim Ljajic, who has asked the ICTY Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz to open an investigation.
Jessen-Petersen, whose UN posts have also included head of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees in the Balkans, has previously harvested widespread praise for his tenure at UNMIK.
So who was harvesting organs from whom?
Kosovo is spelled with an ‘o’ and not an ‘a’.
I’d pay a thousand dollars right now to watch Serbian tanks roll back into Kosovo. We’ve already seen two major NWO initiatives undone with Bibi coming back to power in Israel and Russians kicking that orange clown Sockavillain’s hiney in when he tried to seize South Ossetia. Serbia retaking Kosovo would be the grand prize. Jesus coming back to the world would be a better day than that but that’s about what it would take.
Spelling follows the Danish headline.
See #8.
Israel armed Christian Georgia because Russia arms mohammedan Hizballah, Syria, Iran, etc., etc. Israel helped Saakashvili to kill the savage Russian barbarian invaders.
Bosnian Muslims simply murdered Serbs (different war), its the Albanians that were conducting the harvesting operation during the NATO lead bombing campaign against Serbia in 1999.
Yep, you’re an idiot alright.
No, there WERE allegations of illegal harvesting of organs from Serbs even back during the Bosnian war, but back then even I found it pretty unthinkable -- not so unthinkable now.
Have some links?
Multi-lingual Professor Maher had info on it and talked about it.
I can't find any links now, in part because the key words keep pointing toward stories about the KLA at the moment-- and also because the Bosnian war was before the internet was quite as prolific with stories from the Serbian side in English as it is now.
But I will say that even I wrote that allegation off 16 years ago to "propaganda" back then, because I could not wrap my brain around the idea that something quite so ghoulish was possible without getting wide news coverage or acknowledgment from Western politicians. Knowing what I do now, I was terribly naive back then.
In fact, I really miss being naive to this kind of inhumanity.
I’d like to get a hold of that material for some further research. I’m going there this summer and may do some digging of my own.
Actually, it was a free for all against Serbians :( Europe and US simply betrayed a true ally, when they backed up Albanians and Bosnians and gave Kosovo away!
I’m an American. What piece of crap country are you from again? Oh yeah, that’s right, nobody cares.
I am an American and you’re a Dumb American, you’re right, nobody cares about Dumb Americans.
You've been hitting the MSM Headlines too hard again, Joe -- it's a sickness you know.
Everyone by now -- except you -- admits that Georgia's Misha Saakashvili actually attacked S. Ossetia, hoping to get the US and NATO involved in a war against Russia. It didn't work. For all the money that Georgia paid Randy Scheunemann, McCain's old foreign policy adviser (and Sarah Palin's current one), all Georgia got out of it was McCain looking like a moron muttering, "We're all Georgians now" (NO! We're NOT, John!") -- and the Georgians got their asses kicked. That Georgian fiasco was one of the most sorely bungled operations I've ever seen.
The only thing Saakashvili accomplished was getting a bunch of Georgians killed, and all that for being an idiot.
Georgia is right to attack and kill the Russian occupiers of their land. Many more Russians must die unless they leave Georgia and go back to Russia where they belong!
Fine, why don't you go help them? Just don't get the rest of us involved.
Did Georgia attack Ossetia like Serbia "attacked" Kosovo?
Serbia has wisely refused to recognize the independence of the territories Russia has illegally occupied and annexed from Georgia. Georgia has never recognized the independence of Kosovo. Defending Russia's genocidal aggression is not likely to win many friends to your cause. It would be a shame if the Serb cause becomes stained by association with the Russians just because of some bigmouth Serbophiles on FR.
Put down the crack pipe there Joe, the Russians already routed the Georgian military so any “fighting” they plan on conducting in the future will be relegated to rock throwing ala Palestinian style.
Thank God they received all that US training because it really came in handy. </sarcasm>
Joe’s colostomy bag would prevent him from volunteering, they would have to force him to detach it from the back of his head before due consideration.
Ah yes, I imagine that the Georgian government has someone reading FR and hanging on to my every word!/s Can you get any more stupid, Joe?
Quite the opposite of what you are implying, I am pro-Georgia -- pro-Georgia enough that I don't want to see Georgians getting used just so that Soros and McCain & Company can poke the Russian bear in the eye, just for the hell of it. It's Georgians that have & will suffer & die for that moronic strategy, not us -- at least not yet.
Like I've said before, Georgia cannot change its geography. It's next door to Russia and it always will be. Unless it wants to commit suicide, it needs to find some way not to allow itself to be used by the Western globalists to antagonize Russia -- because if push comes to shove, the cavalry (NATO) ain't coming to their rescue.
I believe that this artificially generated conflict is really about oil -- not "Georgia's freedom" -- and those same Muslim loving, oil-guzzling globalists who want animosity between Russia and Georgia, would like nothing more than to see Orthodox Christians (Russians and Georgians) killing each other off, to please the ME Muslim buddies.
Why don't you go to Kosovo and fight to free it of Albanians?,/
Unlike you, I've never advocated that we "go" anywhere -- quite the opposite, I advocate that we DON'T go and instead get the hell out of Kosovo --and stay out of Georgia -- because all we've done is make things worse. I suggested that you go, because I'd like to see you armchair "tough guys" put your money where your mouth is, instead of wasting America's young men with a future, on wars that have nothing to do with protecting America and aren't in America's best interests. Better the old farts advocating "war with everyone, everywhere" go to war themselves, because geezers filled with nothing but anger, arrogance and hot air are no real loss to America -- or to anyone at all.
I support the pro-American leadership of Georgia because it is not in America's interest to allow our Russian enemies to regain the territory they lost when we beat them in the Cold War. You on the other hand promote the interests of a country which is not an American ally at all. You slander Americans who support our troops and our allies as armchair tough guys, while your own armchair tough guys call for your Russian heroes to liberate Kosovo. Maybe the Russians are waiting for you Serbs to get off your asses and do it yourself.
If you really were against Orthodox Christians killing each other them you would oppose Russia's INVASION OF ORTHODOX GEORGIA! Instead you blame the victim. Instead you blame your own country for provoking Russia's savagery. You also completely undermine your case for Serbia's territorial integrity by denying Georgia's.
John McCain deserves credit for supporting America's friends. I'm not ashamed at all to say I voted for him. You probably didn't and thanks to people like you we now have President Obama. Thanks a whole lot.
A big steaming pile of words from you without an ounce of logic — or truth, Joe.
Congrats on just about the dumbest and most incoherent rant I’ve seen from anyone here in a very long time! LOL!
The 1999 NATO Bombing of Yugoslavia and our Kosovo policy were likely the most anti-American actions that a US Administration ever produced -- bypassing Congress to use a multi-national force to attack a sovereign country that neither attacked us nor was a threat to us, in order to plant a NATO Base on stolen land, defied the US Constitution and spit on everything the US stood for. There was a reason that a group of Senators and Congressmen sued Clinton for that Bombing, on exactly those grounds. The globalists and statists who have been running our country ARE anti-American, Joe. And you don't have to be "Serb sympathetic" to see that. You only have to love the US Constitution and what it stands for . Supporting these globalist anti-Americans doesn't make you "more pro-American than me", Joe, it makes you anti-American too, no matter how much you try to wrap yourself in the American flag and try and declare me some sort of "outsider"!
As for the Russian government at the time, they sold out Serbia too -- not as far as recognizing an independent Kosovo, but in allowing a such an entity to be created. As such, there is no "love for the Russian government" -- it wasn't the first time that the Russian government sold out the Serbs and it likely won't be the last. The Russian government has used Kosovo as a bargaining chip and a thorn in America's side, because they were handed that weapon -- by us.
On the other hand, I don't have the xenophobia nor blind hatred of the Russian people that you do. And the Russian people and media have brought to light the real situation on the ground in Kosovo -- the organ harvesting, the drug-running, the sex slaving of the Muslim Kosovo Albanians. It's truly sad when Russian news-outlets have become more reliable than (the Saudi and globalist owned) American news agencies on this issue -- but it's true. Do I understand why some Serbs are "pro-Russian" on that count? Hell, yes! Because the Russians (& some Czechs) have been the only ones telling the truth on this issue! Our sinister and depraved policies on Kosovo (through 3 Administrations) have created this situation. And if full knowledge and the cover-up on these organ harvesting and drug running examples don't tell you that, then nothing will.
There are three pillars on which each and every country on the planet rests -- defensible and defended borders, a common language and a common set of values which are usually based on a common religion. We've done everything to do destroy those pillars in Serbia which many people in the West have cheerleaded. But those people don't seem to notice that what we have done to Serbia is also now being done to us -- by the same anti-American globalists who stole Kosovo from Serbia. Those globalists may not give a damn about the Christian Serbs -- and that's OK with a lot of Americans -- but neither do they give a damn about us. We are just as much an ant on an elephants behind as the Kosovo Serbs are to them.
I'm a Christian and an American, Joe. But if I am ever forced to choose between those two things, I am a Christian first. I believe in the 10 Commandments and "doing unto others as I would have them do unto me" because I believe in Christ. But even if I weren't a Christian, I think that this particular Commandment is axiomatic. What we as a country are doing unto others is now being done to us -- by the same people -- the same globalists who are trying to destroy the borders, economy and Christian culture of Serbia are now doing the same to us. No surprise to me, not then and not now.
One doesn't have to be "Serb-sympathetic' to recognize Right and Wrong, Good and Evil, Depravity and Morality. It simply requires a moral compass that works wherever you are -- and a person either has one of those or they don't. I don't see where "being an American" allows us to throw that moral compass out because we don't like what we discover from it. That is not what "American Exceptionalism" means or should ever mean, because "God is no respecter of persons" -- or of countries. Being an American does not give us "a free pass" to ignore His Rules -- and if we do, it is at our own peril!
You don't seem to care at all about Georgia's borders or about the canonical jurisdiction of the Georgian Orthodox Church. You only defend Orthodox Christians who are allied with Russia and you condemn Orthodox Christians who are allies with the USA. It's clear that defending Orthodox Christians is not what you are all about. You defend them only if they are obedient to the Kremlin.
I thought bombing the Serbs was wrong and I still think it was wrong. It's sad that you do not recognize that what Russia and their battalions of Chechen "ex-rebels" did to Georgia is just as wrong. That shows that you either don't know the difference between right and wrong or you just don't care.
Is this a thread about Georgia and Russia? No. But you can’t stand not grandstanding on that issue on every Serbian thread- pathetic, just pathetic.
And you are consistently full of bluster and abject bullcrap, Joe.
I promise I will show up on every thread where Putinistas and Milosevikniks slander and demean our Georgian allies. If you can't promote Serbia's interests without veering off into an anti-American pro-Russian agenda then you don't belong here and I will do everything I can to draw attention to that fact.
