San Antonio police on Monday arrested a woman accused of assisting in an April killing.
Richelle Vasquez, 34, is suspected in the murder of Mark A. Gabler, 33, whose remains were found in a Bexar County field on May 20.
Vasquez became the third person arrested in the case. Kenneth Nelson, 40, was arrested on Dec. 5 and Shawn Phillips, 32, was arrested in October. All are charged with murder.
The three conspired to kill Gabler, rather than turning to police, after he was accused of molesting a young relative of Phillips, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

I don’t condone this kind of behavior, but certainly understand it given the track record of the justice system when it comes to punishing child molesters.

This is what happens when our system becomes unjust. No one trusts the government to properly condemn child molesters any more. Child killers, I think we still believe justice will be done. But molesters are released to molest again.
This molester won’t, assuming he was guilty. I support the jury trial system, but, there needs to be good sentencing minimums.

They should have waited for the perp to be released from prison. The goal should be to purge the justice system of bleed-heart pro-criminal policies, not bypass it all together.

Yes, the courts would have placed him on probation, and registered him as a sex offender.
Now: He is no longer a sex offender.
hey in the courts today the judge probably would have given the chiold molester visitation rights.
