That is what my wife also said when we were talking about the additional construction. Got to take care of all the unions.

If Texas was to secede from Union , it is estimated that as many as 25 states would go with it. They would control 2/3 of the military forces. You are correct about the “civil war”, it was a war started by the North(Lincoln),who did not want to lose the taxes paid by the south. The south was trying to restore the original Constitution. I wonder if the current government(obama) is not wanting a issue like this so that they can invoke martial law and use it as a excuse to take total control.

The next war will be a Civil War with so many factions fighting each other it will be hard to draw the line on who to shoot.

Its simple, aim for the tax hiking, gun grabbing bibliophobes that support gay marriage and environmentalism...

Isn’t it ironic the War Between the States started exactly 150 years ago? Just a quick observation to this bookmark bump.

Red herring alert! If Texas secedes at the beginning nobody will even notice the difference. The federal government really plays a tiny role in most peoples lives. The only thing that will change is on the paychecks the Federal withholding will now go to the Republic of Texas.

These are not you GGGF Yankees, they won't fight to "preserve the Union" .
