I oppose these hot lanes because my commute could cost me $22 each way! Besides, I already pay for the roads. Why do I have to pay an Australian company to drive on my own road?

You could pick me up at the slug line and save all that money.

And driving on the not-so-hot lanes is out of the question?

Don’t get me wrong. I prefer to see our highway tax dollars go to paving Arlington in it’s entirety. But since that’ll never happen - let them build the hot lanes and let those willing to pay the toll us it.

You don’t have to use them.
