Although Hawaii's newly elected Democrat governor, Neil Abercrombie, has recently given a flurry of high-profile media interviews condemning "birthers" who question Barack Obama's constitutional eligibility to occupy the Oval Office, suddenly he is declining to answer a few hard questions.

Many here seem to think that bringing this matter up again is Obama’s way of reheating leftovers to feed his opponents for the 2010 election. I’m inclined to that argument.

I agree not good for BO. Evidently BO and Abercrombie think that by releasing a forged BC they can end the controversy over BO’s place of birth but all they have done is refocus attention on the real issue that disqualifies BO as pResident.
BO is NOT constitutionally qualified to be POTUS regardless of where he was born because by his own admission his dad was a British/Kenyan citizen.

That’s been my thought from the beginning. Like all good lefties Ambercrombie believed everything Obama said was true, and he also believed everything the MSM churned out about how loony the ‘birthers’ are.
So he went and had a Biden moment, and thought he’d be the big hero by trotting out the facts to make the ‘birthers’ look stupid. Then he got a witchslapped by the truth, and we will hear not another peep about making Obama’s records public.

I have been posting on FreeRepublic for far longer than you have newbie. Evidently you have a reading comprehension problem. Unlike chrissie matthews, I am not a birther. The place of BO’s Birth is IRRELEVANT!

Been hearing all kinds of alternative theories on this - one that sounds pretty good is that Obama was born in Hawaii, but fraudulently applied to Occidental and/or Columbia as a foreign exchange student.
That is not the point. Barack Obama, Sr. was a Kenyan/British citizen. That alone precludes Barack Obama, Jr. from being a natural born citizen.
This is not rocket science.
Simple as that.
Actually releasing it opens up the can of worms Obama cannot avoid, the circumstances of his birth can be legally challenged in a court of law.
I look forward to the day when some talking head has to report that all of Obama’s personal records have been sealed away for 150 years by a presidential order so that the question of his eligibility can never be questioned in our lifetimes.
That alone will be proof enough for me.

Nathan Deal was my Rep in Washington. Once he made this public statement his politcal opposition came out of the woodwork to smear him with ethics charges. As the new Governor, I am confident he will sign any legislation the State of Georgia is able to push through requiring all Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates to verify that they meet constutional eligbility.
One of the ways srategem works is to throw something over the fence and see how the public reacts. Then you can adjust fire accordingly or hold fire. Perhaps what we’re seeing here is the latter.
Perhaps it was blackmail...and he got what he wanted...end of story...

Exactly, it is not rocket science. It is clearly stated in Vattel’s Law of Nations.
Vattel’s Law of Nations was the principal legal reference used by the Founding Fathers in writing the Constitution.
“The natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens... it is necessary that a person be born of a father who is a citizen; for, if he is born there of a foreigner, it will be only the place of his birth, and not his country.”
It can’t be stated more simply than that. You would think even your dumbest obots would be able to understand Vattel’s simple definition of a Natural Born Citizen.

Good grief...if zero's father is BO Sr. then zero is not eligible to be president. His father was not ever an American Citizen.
However, his grandmother was supposedly had a BC issued from HI and didn't list a mother nor father...if that's the case then his BC is invalid.

Indeed, let’s say he produces ‘something’ intended to lay this all to rest. Let’s say he prints up a perfectly benign long form which perfectly dovetails with his story. (impossible because his story differs) At the very least, I would expect even his most sycophantic toadies to say “what the hey? why didn’t you do this three years ago?”

However, I do believe Abercrombie believed the Obama mythos about having a perfectly legitimate HI BC, and that A. really did think he would be a hero for finally showing the world how nutty ‘birthers’ are. And personally I believe he has since seen or been told something that will shut him up on the issue permanently. It’s just my opinion, but fwiw, there it is.
I tend to agree. My main reason for not totally agreeing with the birthers is that if there was one itoa any hard evidence/proof that he wasn’t eligible to be President, I can’t believe that the Clinton operation couldn’t unearth it.
