Dems crowdsourcing to get Palin elected in primaries
Slashdot ^ | 30 DEC 10 | PVoce

Posted on 12/30/2010 7:02:00 PM PST by pvoce

"In what could be the most extreme and influential crowdsourcing project ever, Democrats are beginning to organize to purposely vote for Palin in the 2012 Republican primaries. Their theory is by having Palin as an opponent, Obama will have the best odds at winning reelection. Recent polls have shown that Obama comfortably leads Palin by 10-20 points, but Obama is statistically tied with Romney and barely ahead of Huckabee. They even have a state-by-state primary voting guide to help Democrats navigate various states' rules for voting Palin in Republican primaries."

Witless. Palin can run verbal circles around Obama in a debate. She can slice and dice him down to size and not break a sweat.

“And winning that debate will convince voters to vote for her

With Palin’s history of supporting drilling for oil, gas at $5.00 a gal (see other FR threads),and Obama opposed to open up drilling; I do not think Obama would win.
But I also never win lotteries, door prizes, etc.

I’m with you.

First, I don’t believe this necessarily. Cause if true, it is the damn dumbest thing ever.

I tend to believe it’s yet another way to make Palin into a loser.

But hey, if they’re that dumb we appreciate the help. Also, if true, then the only ones we got to worry about are the Karl Rove types, the Ruling Class Blue Blood GOP, that will be working against Palin.

Sarah Palin’s woes in the polls stem from one thing and one thing only: a massive, unrelenting democrat smear campaign that began the instant McCain named her. The GOP has to push hard to correct the lies and this new ‘rat campaign will backfire big time. If the GOP doesn’t, she loses, America loses. Again.

The Dems are better organized. That’s how we got stuck with McCain as a nominee. The Tea Party should try to overturn those open primary statutes. The RINOs (Republican Party Establishment) are perfectly content with candidates like McCain and Bob Dole.

Americans love being brainwashed in HD with their 40” plasma. A FR’er tonight said Megan Kelly on Al Waleed’s Fox News was making fun of birthers and fawning over Lord Obama.

Americans traded liberty for a clicker and ball games.

California voters (many of which are legal) voted in open primaries, so the overwhelming Dems can chose the Repub candidate.

So much for the concept of Republican Party members controlling their own Party.

Open primaries make elections a farce.

The USA is getting to have elections almost as honest as Hugo Chavez’s.

How can the USA stay a free nation when the corruption becomes overwhelming. Plus world class incompetence (Pelosi: “We must pass the bill so we can find out what is in it. — if that is not absolute proof she and Dems are corrupt or insane, what is?)

Palin’s best strategy, and the best strategy for all Republicans, is to begin attacking Obama’s energy policy. When the price of gas reaches $5, Obama will be toast and the candidate who’s been attacking his energy policy from the start will have the most credibility.

Too bad they are too stupid to see how genuinely damaged Obummer is and by giving any GOP candidate a leg up will insure their success in '12.

I guess none of these dolts saw the anger at the ballot box last month. They will have helped install their personal boogy man in the WH.

PsyOps. Don't believe this cr@p even for a second.

Watch what they do, not what they say. What they're doing is writing article after article trashing Palin. When they mention Romney at all, it's as a contender--someone to watch out for.

They are trying to get us to drive Palin's numbers down because she scares them the most. They know Romney is a loser.

The radio host who sat-in for Rush this past week (can’t remember his name) said that comparisons to Sarah Palin in 2010 are eerily reminiscent of Ronald Reagan in 1978-79. The Carter camp was ecstatic when Reagan got the GOP nomination in 1980. He trounced Carter. Carter conceded before the polls even closed in California.

Someone better tell the Dems to be careful what they hope for. Remember a lot of people voted for Obama in the Primaries just to stop Hillary, thinking Zero wouldn’t have a chance to win.

So, go ahead Dems, do your thing.

“The Dems are better organized. That’s how we got stuck with McCain as a nominee.”

I don’t know about better organized but the Republican “open primary” system is and will continue to be a nightmare. It is what brought us McCain as our nominee. And since we haven’t (I guess} eliminated them we are looking at a repeat of 2008 which is what this article is all about. I don’t know Sarah will beat Obama or not but it would be nice if we picked our own nominee. I don’t believe the lib polls and think that Sarah could beat Obama, but I’d really like to see DeMint run, win, and reverse with the new tea party congress’ help, all this crap which the libs have jammed down our throats during the last two years. All of it!

RNC, are you listening?
