I believe they are responsible for whatever crime/harm a parolee they release does unless they are forced to release him/her (an order they should refuse or quit their job if necessary).

If someone giving or selling someone one drink is responsible for the damage that person does while intoxicated, then a parole board is certainly responsible for the crime/damage a convict they set free does while on parole.

It probably doesn’t matter what race they are—everyone I met in Lowell was a prick.

Why is it that the police are always held accountable for any perceived wrong that they may do while on duty. They will usually be suspended from their jobs sometimes without pay until they are thoroughly examined. During this period the officer’s name and photo will be plastered all over the news. Why is it that the parole board is not subjected to the same kind of investigation and scrutiny? Another question that I have is why the Department of Social Services is not also held accountable when they give abused children back to their abusing parents, sometimes ending in the death of the child. Do we ever see the faces of the DSS personnel who made the decision? Are their jobs threatened if their decision ends with the death of a child?

Exactly-—so where are all the attorneys who normally
come out of the woodwork?? Too much of this is happening
so I am hoping they will start taking action.

The way those sisters were depicted was HORRIBLE! Were they really like that? They were like some weird Greek Chorus!

The one pictured appears to be South East Asian perhaps. The names seem Asian too. But they don’t appear to be black at all. The one with his pants on the ground is a definite wanna be though.

“...kind of people who can’t stay off of each other’s lawns.” Good point.

Yeah, the light’s not good in that photo. Could very well be Hmong or something.

“The one with his pants on the ground is a definite wanna be though.” Do they know the implication of wearing their pants at half mast? Isn’t that a signal from one inmate to another that he is courtship ready? Peculiar thing to want to advertise. Most of the juvies I dealt with were very concerned about punking.

Was Huck in charge of this?

Nope. This guy killed only one cop. The one Huckleberry released killed FOUR.

There is a reason juries find these people guilty, and they receive life sentences. The bleeding hearts who let them out seem to forget that.

But, you understand, despite the Prosecutor’s objections snarkily rejected by Gov Huck, with this extension of love to the downtrodden, then all would be well in Huck’s newly established Nirvana...what a klutz!

I remember reading that letter here on FR ("the governor laughed out loud"). I would bet a tidy sum that the MSM has been pushing Hucky as a "frontrunner" among the Republican candidates because stories about that pardon (with that letter quoted in full) have already been written in the hope that he would get the nomination.

I cannot believe that anyone would vote for someone with the pardoning record of Gov Huck. It wasn’t just the cop killer...there were others, perhaps not as striking, but enough to allow one to understand what is “NOT” going on between this man’s ears. All I can say is, he might be better than Obama, but heaven help us if he is the best conservative available to run...assuming he is a conservative is a big hill to climb, too, after all I hear he comes from Hope, AR!

>>They (the police officer)will usually be suspended from their jobs sometimes without pay until they are thoroughly examined.<< CORRECTION: Very rarely will be suspended from their jobs sometimes without pay.
