2010. I remember when I was growing up how 2010 sounded so futuristic. And now it’s come and gone. As a kid, I used to think that by the year 2010 we’d have flying cars and that everything would be so space-age. What do we have to show for 2010? The iPad. The Chevy Volt. Those little gel toilet dots that supposedly keep you from having to clean the toilet as often. So much for a wide-open future of technological innovation.
At the same time, during my politically precocious childhood, I was captivated by the seemingly limitless optimism of the Reagan era. I thought there was nothing we couldn’t do as a nation, and I truly believed that we wouldn’t again see anything like the Carter years. I didn’t know how to define it at the time, but I was convinced that what I now know as the Left was defeated.
Little did I know that, all these years later, progressives would be more galvanized and stubborn than at any other era of history. And just when you think they couldn’t get more outrageous, the Left continues to surprise, amuse, and anger much of the American populace, often achieving all three at the same time.
Whether they’re turning a scandal into a circus, passing unpopular legislation, whitewashing their own or someone else’s history, living it up on the taxpayers’ dime, or revealing their own ignorance and insanity, Leftists engage in more ridiculous behavior than ever before. It’s hard to believe their constituents continue to let them get away with it, but they do.

The future ain’t what it used to be.
It is our fault dear Conservatives. We let this happen to our nation. We let them win in the court of public opinion. We were asleep at the switch when Oprah fixed Obama around our necks. We were arguing Conservative purity and attacking our own, while RINOs took over (the right wing of the Progressive Party) the GOP. We did nothing as the Media corrupted the media and Stressed a Hippie agenda upon the youth and universities. What did we do? Pine for Reagan, watch Glen Beck and whine. Well—I will tell you folks—This has got to stop or we will be living in the new USSR. I never believe in just carping—we must act!
1. I propose a National “Wide Awake Club” to get the real news and wake up Americans who don’t see whats happening to our land. Not Partisan but Conservative.
2. We need to research the truth behind stories—we must become the leakers and whistle blowers. We must become a media of our own.
3. Don’t take the pressure off these clowns—keep alive the Tea parties—Keep alive the goals of limited Government and self reliance.
4. Never give up the fight—when times are hard continue to organize and help one another.
5. Keep to our common American Values—stress what unites us as a people. How?
a) No more hyphenated Americans—we are Just Americans.
Don’t use the terms, don’t support the idea.
b) Look to our history books of the past. Write new books
for kids on the glories of the Alamo, Robert E. Lee,
Lincoln, and Patton. Make Videos, Movies, what ever it
takes to show America isn’t evil or bad.
c) Reject Political Correctness-—even if you are
offended in some way. Don’t whine about it.
d) Support Pro-America Media in all its forms. Have you
subscribed to a right leaning magazine?
e) Do you fly your Nations Flag? Do so each day.
f) When have you supported a charity last? Can’t afford it
then Volunteer some time for Red Cross, give Blood,
be part of Neighborhood watch, Attend a City Council
Meeting what ever. Become part of society.
G) Pray—anyway you can or do—Go to church. You don’t
like your church—find one you like! Start your own if
you must, but pray and find comfort in God.

The guy’s sole redeeming feature is that he’s pro-Israel — one of the few leftist congressmen to dissent from The Party Line on that issue.
