frican-American political leaders rallied around former U.S. Sen. Carol Moseley Braun on Saturday as a unity candidate best qualified to be Chicago mayor, capping a holiday week of private negotiations that left her the only major black politician in the campaign.
Flanked by prominent black elected officials who dropped out and endorsed her bid, Braun told a crowd at the weekly Rainbow/PUSH Coalition meeting on the South Side that she has "the most credentials and the most qualifications and experience of all of the candidates running" to replace retiring Mayor Richard Daley.
"And so they just chose the most qualified candidate for the job," said Braun, who made history as the nation's first black female senator but dropped out of elected politics after losing her re-election bid in 1998.

What a wonderful place to spend some stimulus cash regardless who counts the votes. There has to be ‘big’ money just signing up for an election in liberal cities.
FINALLY! Someone who says the TRUTH instead of moaning about integration and ‘coming together as a nation!’ It’s their choice to isolate themselves in ghettos.
In the past 2 years, since the obamanation regime began, I have seen people afraid to talk to one another in restaurants, etc. if the conversation was in anyway about the current news! That was NEVER the case in years past. Discourse was not mean, nor hateful, but it was truthful. No longer is that so. I'm tired of being afraid to speak the truth because it might cause the government to harm me. I'm no longer afraid of that. The minorities speak to one another in Twitter, etc using the most fowl, nasty racial words and NO ONE says a thing about it! but let a white person speak their mind, and it's “hate talk”... enough is enough.
There is no primary. There is a non partisan first round where if the leading candidate does not get 50% of the vote +1 there is a run off between the two leading candidates.
Why Meeks or Davis pulled out is a puzzlement both have more experience and a lot less baggage than Braun. If Braun gets past the first round to face Rham (which I hope she won’t, she’s a shill for Rahm both are going after Cesco). Chicago in either case is a big loser and the big push for the 2012 re-election of Obama is what this is all about will be on..
I'm rooting for Carol Mostly Fraud in this one. She's incompetent, but Rahm is just pure evil. I wonder how the black community in Chicago feels about Bill "The First Black President" Clinton campaigning for Rahm against "their" candidate?
After all that has been done for them, still they choose to isolate and hate us for no reason at all. I’ve ahd to live in Pontiac, MI for the past three years and I’ve experienced a TON of racism and hateful disdain. They are simply colonizers, not citizens. When they had ot work for freedom, they weren’t like this.
And you’re right about the fear that surroudns the US. When Obama was elected, I felt like a Jew in Germany, right after Hitler being elected and I am for one not surprised at the fear. Fear is how the scum got elected. A bunch of blacks threaten to burn this nation to the ground, go figure, we should have let them. They’ll burn the nation to the ground when Obama is out of office, in 2012 0r 2016 for that matter since they won’t want him to have to leave.

Knowing how to rifle the till is the primary attribute of all Illinois Gubernatorial candidates. The blacks have learned that the way to rob the whites is to elect the most corrupt candidates they can find. It is the African way, all over America.
