From George Washington down to Barack Obama.

That is a long, long fall in less than 235 years.

Good gravy! The author of this article reads FR? I and others have posted this link on several occasions.

Well, no real surprise here. Homosexuality has always been around...the General seems to have dealt with it forthrightly. He was enlightened enough to not have had "the sodomist" shot.

Just my opinion...and, FWIW, I am one who believes that homosexual men and women have served our country well throughout all our wars, and DADT seems to make sense. Although I certainly cannot speak for the General, I believe he would agree.

I think a lot of bloggers and talkers use FR as a platform for stories, links, and information...some of the finest researchers and thinkers post here.

Thanks for your contribution and the link (I had missed your previous posts).

I am always amazed at the brain power that posts here. It encourages me to research even if I'm not as good.

Thanks for your contribution and the link (I had missed your previous posts).

It had been posted on several homosexual agenda threads by several posters. We share info. :-)

Here’s another take on Washington. It has very bad language so if you are easily offended don’t look.

Watch when high school lets out in 2011 and when the guys and girls of the class of 2007 finish their 1st hitch, and how many just stop up for roll call.

George Washington applied the proper solution to the problem of homos in the military. May the current repulsive aberration from normalcy be over soon.

You’ll be projecting power by promoting fairness...Joe Biden

BS.

The military is about killing people and surviving to kill more people so that we win.

It is not about "fairness."

What a bunch of candy ass idiots we have in national leadership!

Democrats have an inate dislike for the military. But since they are stuck with it they have decided to use it as a social labratory for all of their favorite "progressive" theories and a place to provide busywork employment for many people who would otherwise be on welfare.

You are right. I was wrong. There was once a fascinating program on C-SPAN where they went into the stacks where all the papers of the early presidents are stored. I recalled this as being at the National Archives, but I just located the program and the place they visited is the Madison Building of the Library of Congress.

Here is a link to the program.

Wow. I am surprised. I would have thought the originals would be in the archives with transcriptions at the LoC.
