I love that man, I always have. Mrs. Cheney is on the top of my most admired list as well. They are both genuine, down to earth. I would go hunting with him any day of the week .

He would have made a great President, but it was never in the cards. He will go down in history as one of the greatest Vice Presidents in history, one of the very few VP’s who was as important to this nation as the President.

Whatever the future brings for him, our prayers will be with him. I hope he sees this thread (wonder if he lurks?) and knows how much we appreciate what he has done for this country.
