The left never cared about babies(abortion) or senior citizens(death Panels),regardless of skin color, who died in the sanitation union job action.

These two groups are just ‘collateral damage’ in the lefts long march toward Marxism and maintaining power.

I'm not going to read that BS. There is NO justification for making fraud and malfeasance in connection with snow removal in NYC a Federal issue. Congress can and does pass these laws which centralize power in the Federal Government, but that doesn't mean that thinking citizens cannot mourn the passing of their country.

For the Feds to be jumping in so early without any clearly identifiably federal law being broken seems to be just one more case of an over reaching fedzilla encroachment into our lives.

However, as a NYS resident (Western NY thank God), the communists in this state will see no problem with the feds stepping in.

Wasn’t it just two or three years ago that the Mississippi flooded and a female governor (don’t remember her name) of one of those states received a call from Washington DC telling her to hold off calling out the National Guard?

I think you are remembering it backwards or perhaps you were told wrong. During Katrina, Governor Kathleen Blanco of Louisiana, refused to request Federal aid or to ask that a national emergency be declared, a necessary step for the Fed to get involved including calling out the National Guard, until she and her cronies could hash out a deal that they, not the Fed, would control the money. This caused a delay of several days which they and the media blamed on Bush.

I’ve had time to refresh my memory now by poking around the internet. The incident that I’m referring to happened after Katrina. The gist is that in 2007,parts of Kansas had been hit hard by tornadoes and Governor Kathleen Sebelus she she couldn’t call out the Guard to help because President Bush had them overseas fighting in Iraq. Senator Brownback told the media that the Kansas National Guard commander said that “they had all the resources needed to respond”.

Then talk radio Quinn and Rose (Warroom) aired that they had a trusted source who told them that DNC Chairman Howard Dean had called Governor Sebelius and instructed her not to request federal assistance in recovery, and to lie about the federal response to date.

I remember that this caused a big stink at the time, but haven’t seen what the outcome was...other than President Obama naming Governor Sebelius Secretary of Health and Human Services.
