No kidding Alice...
Sorcha Faal is a steaming pile of nonsense. Why post it here?
ty for the ping, keep ‘em coming
Whew... He must have really been disoriented.
Still, would it not be a cool movie Ala Conspiracy Theory? Kinda writes itself!
Exactly. He wasn’t the average joe.
I’ve read about three articles this morning so far. The cops in Newark said it’s a homicide and they aren’t revealing the cause of death yet.
I’ve explained that multiple times already in this thread. I have no idea who this person is and could care less. I happened to get this in my inbox and decided to share it. I do not buy into it but thought it was interesting what is getting passed around. Why do you have a problem with that?
The only thing I can think of is maybe she sees a lot of people like this, maybe a lot of druggies, drunks etc in that area? I don’t know, I don’t live in a place like that, so I’m only speculating. I know it would be VERY out of place to me, but maybe not to her. If you lived where that was common place you might, after awhile, stop getting yourself involved.
Huh.. That's interesting.
If I recall at least the initial reports mentioned several blackbird species, starlings, redwing blackbirds were what I recall. When we lived in TX I remember that they tended to flock together along with cowbirds and some other blackbird types. Most people probably would not recognize them as separate species (altho they would probably know that the redwings were different since their wings give them away pretty easily).
I’m only pointing this out because whatever happened probably didn’t target a species but just whatever was in the area, and they were likely flocking together, as they tend to do.
Perhaps mugged and a head injury? That seems logical to me.
Irrelevent point. Can’t tell you how he got to where the dumpsters were. But the fact remains that he was dumped out of a dumpster. Got it?
Here’s a video of him, disoriented and carrying his shoe, inside the parking garage where his car wasn’t parked afterall.
Looking a little different? What does that mean?
Yeah, good point. THey will screw it up entirely.
I commented before I saw the other people who’d commented about Sorcha Faal.
I thought most people knew that SF is total nonsense, that’s all.
So people can see it? Or does everything need to be filtered thru you? Come on, FReepers are quite able to read and tell if something sounds like nonsense.
And I apologize for my snarky reply to you. Something IS in the water. :(
They knew what it wasn't. No definitive diagnosis.
As it turned out he was driving, became nauseous, pulled over & vomited. Has no memory of anything until he pulled into the driveway, vomited again and vaguely remembers EMT taking him out of the front door. He does not remember going into the house next door, sitting down, watching TV and telling the neighbors the car was too heavy to push.
Besides the mental confusion, he had a low grade fever, 101.5, & was dehydrated. He was given Tylenol and IV fluids. His confusion cleared over the next few hours. They kept him in for more testing.
My theory (as good as anything else at this point) was that he either had a bug or ate breakfast at the wrong place. when he vomited, he threw his
electrolytes out of whack which caused the confusion.
It is possible something similar happened to Wheeler and he met up with the wrong person. Unfortunately no one called anyone, probably assuming he was a drunk.
“Ever hear of rapid onset or ‘sudden’ dementia?”
The coroner ruled his death a homicide.
“Looking a little different? What does that mean?”
The pharmacist was probably referring to the “disheveled” look?
How did he die? Was he shot, stabbed, poisoned? Do we know? This sounds a lot like Arkancide, where the victims shot themselves in the back of the head with a rifle.
Fair enough. I have never heard of SF. Some co-worker sent it to me out of the blue. I could tell it was BS conspiracy type nonsense but thought it interesting still.
Many times acute symptoms are mistaken for intoxication.
Must be it, altho you would think that’s what he would have said. If someone told me someone was “looking a little different” I would think they meant a new hairdo or a change in style or a tan or something. Maybe that’s a girl thing. :)
I think sometimes it’s just often to know what is being said *out there*. As soon as I read Putin I put it in my *crazy and not to be believed* file, but still, I read it.
I was not speaking to the cause of death. My reply was to the poster who claimed that dementia only develops slowly over time. That is not the case. It can come on suddenly (in minutes or hours) due to underlying medical conditions. See the link I posted.
“How did he die? Was he shot, stabbed, poisoned?”
One of the few details the police have not revealed.
We know where he was last seen, around 8:30 pm on Dec. 30th, acting disoriented, in the Nemours Bldg., 1007 N. Market St, Wilmington.
The next day he was observed being dumped from the garage truck into the landfill. They are assuming that he was in one of the dumpsters that was emptied from the east side of Newark. One of the dumpsters they mentioned was at a bank at the College Square Shopping Center, and another at Goodwill, which is nearby. These locations are approximately 12.5 miles away from where he was last seen.
He couldn’t have driven there because they found his car still parked in a garage in Wilmington.
Police found evidence linking John Parsons Wheeler 3d to devices planted at the New Castle home of a neighbor with whom he had been feuding, said the source, who is close to the investigation. The feud was over the size of the neighbor's house, which was under construction in the city's historic district.
“No one has commented on the alledged fued that Wheeler was having with his neighbor.”
It’s been posted at least three times on this thread and many times on three other threads prior to this one. The FBI was called to investigate the smoke bomb that was tossed into the Marini’s house, which is under construction. They suspect John Wheeler did it.
That’s what I’m thinking too — he could have stopped off for a drink somewhere, been drugged, followed and murdered when he was incapable of protecting himself. With all the secrets he probably had, he should have had some kind of protection.
I read that, but that just seems odd. I find it hard to believe a man of his stature would plant incendiary devices in the home of that neighbor and to what end? Would that really make them decide to stop building it? Really? If true that sounds much more like something planted and makes it start to sound like some sort of cover up (which I actually had been leaning away from).
Oh, the device was a smoke bomb?
Am wondering too; if perhaps, when briefcase was stolen - assuming it was - if he was not hit on the head by perp; which may have caused some bleeding etc; and so 'from there'.. .he went downhill. Although; none of this yet explains; how he ended up in dumpster. Was he 'placed inside', or was he confused and still 'just looking' for his briefcase. . .
Again; too bad this was not appropriately dealt with by the 'Security' when he clearly demonstrated he needed 'real' assistance.
Very interesting. The internet allows things to get out.
The device was a “rodent” smoke bomb.
Would you consider that an incendiary device? I don’t really know, but when I first heard it I thought of something more like a molotov cocktail.
Here's a link to still shots from the surveillance video showing Wheeler walking around holding his shoe...
Apparently, the police do.
Technically I would say yes it is, I guess it could cause a fire, but would the intent likely be to start a fire? I’m just wondering, why would someone likely do that? It actually just seems like a stupid thing to do. Maybe he had some sort of psychotic break.
There are so many unanswered questions. It’s interesting how facts are trickling out. I’m sure this mystery will be solved soon.
I plan on using it in any future legal defense in which I need to explain myself regarding any federal, state, or municipal complaint/s.
I love the sudden onset aspect as well as the recovery or relief of symptoms. Most predictable however would be the pharmacology of many cases, that being from drug use gone bad. That too would explain many of my postings right here on FR.
Good questions and concerns.
Fox has just reported that he had a problem with his neighbors whose house size was detrimental to his ‘view’. There was speculation that Wheeler had planted an incendiary device.
Perhaps some, or all, of this is true and he was both stressed out and remorseful of his own appalling actions. If he suffered from any form of dementia or early onset Alzheimers - I believe your assessment of his searching for his briefcase in the dumpster seems rational; or that he was urinating or decided to sit in the dumpster to get warm. Then he fell asleep and the dumpster was lifted up causing a fatal injury. Sometimes thing aren’t what they seem. Including murder.’
A TIA often called a mini-stroke will produce results like this. My mother had an event like this in her eighties. She dropped my dad off at the front entrance to the hospital and then proceded to get disoriented in the parking garage and ended up in the ER but was able to get straightened out in a few hours.
I hope so. But sometimes these things sort of fizzle and there is never a very believeable resolution. I hope for his families sake tho, he didn’t do something stupid.
While I agree, the police from the beginning have said homicide. I think they generally tend toward not homicide, so it would appear there was something about his injuries that looked more like murder. But, of course, we have to wait until they tell us something.
Still, perhaps, a mugging, hit on the head, etc etc. THAT could fit the rest of it, AND would look like (and in fact be) homicide.
