“The GOP is never going to allow a conservative to be it’s candidate for president.”

I don’t agree.

We need to nominate:
#1 - a conservative
#2 - someone who can take on and beat President Obama
#3 - someone who will make a great President

Some conservatives (like myself) think Palin passes #1 and will be better on #3 than critics assume, but are concerned about #2. See post #13. Palin may be the best candidate who runs, but electability will be an issue for her. We’ll see how it shakes out. She is going to easily be the most high-profile candidate and likely frontrunner if she does run.

HE IS SUPPOSED TO BE PALIN’S FRIEND. What friend goes on National TV and says this about her after all she has been through.

it looks like he is warming up to the left.

This is a total spin ... he said NOW. There’s no election NOW. There will be primaries in a year. There will be an election in two years. If she runs for the nomination and wins it, he will support her. I don’t know why anyone is being asked to commit NOW. It’s just stupid to force that issue before someone even announces s/he will run. Who knows for sure that she will run?

So how is saying he wouldn’t vote NOW translate into his veering to the left ??? Maybe you should read the entire tranascript of the show instead of one the spin of one writer who obviously doesn’t like Gov Palin to begin with.

I think what he said was pretty damn friendly. We aren’t electing our friends.

If Ted said I wasn’t too pudgy, wasn’t to blowsy and possessed at least a half a brain, I would think he was sweet on me. He said lovely things about Mrs Palin.

He only said that he couldn’t vote for her at this time. Perhaps he is like many others. He doesn’t want to endorse anyone until he sees the whole field and watches their campaigns and debate performances.

He isn’t warming to the left. He let Rosanne Barf and her cohorts have it.

#1. You are right about Romney. Dead candidate walking.
2012 the top issue is Obamacare, the core of Obamacare is the mandates, and we simply CANNOT have a pro-mandate candidate for President.

I think if Palin and Romney both run, there wont be much oxygen left in the room for any other candidates. Pity, because I like Mike Pence.

#2. Christie won’t run. He’s a blunt guy and he’s been blunt about it. No go. He has enough to deal with as NJ Gov.

Yep, all the mocking of a good conservative and her supporters is just more evidence that those conservatives who have been uncomfortable voting for the lesser of two evils all these years, have done it for naught....it gets us no where politically to vote for a Republican press darling.

It is past time that we just vote for the person that holds our values and is capable of doing the job...regardless of polls.

And in the General election just don’t vote for either Pres candidate.

I remember that from the 2008 debacle.

Hell no wonder the left thinks we are nutz. Imagine that? Squirrel in a popcorn popper.

The problem with Sarah is that the media already successfully destroyed her in 2008. To millions of people who don’t really pay attention to politics, she is just somebody to laugh at.
