Indeed you were. When you have newbees you have to expect missteps. Some seasoning is in order. Offsetting that is a fierce competitive nature and winning experience. Certainly DC is a great fit but maybe he has learned enough to be HC. And Denver could use a head coach that knows how to win.
Luck also is working on a degree in architecture; he won’t HAVE to play in the NFL to have a good, satisfying job.
Why assume that being the NFL is the pinnacle of a man’s life?
