Got shot in the head with a bullet to the brain that apparently went all the way through her head...and she can talk and recognize husband less than 12 hours later?
Simply remarkable.
God has a plan for her.
You never know when it comes to head trauma. Hang in their Rep. Giffords, we are all praying for you.

So many others were killed and injured. I understand a 9 year old girl was killed which is incredibly devastating.
Giffords will no doubt feel responsible for the actions of a madman. This horrific slaughter was cruel in more ways than we can imagine.

Wonderful. She will live. The liberal socialist atheist failed in his primary mission. These people lost abd they are very violent over it.
U got that right..and that is the difference between Conservatives and liberals..WE pray for someone no matter party affiliation. I saw Giffords being interviewed yesterday on Fox News, she seems like a good woman, she wanted a more secure border, is against amnesty, she acts more like a Republican then Collins or Snowe combined
She will continue to be in my prayers.

It is amazing and a blessing what doctors are able to do these days. I hope this story is true.
Apparently God was on the scene today for Congressman Giffords. A shot through the temple certainly is a horrific event for the brain. Having her talking and able to be coherent is a miracle. God bless her and the surviving victims.

Yes. We have; and that’s the difference in FR and DU. One of the differences, not to gloat.
DU has been more concerned with figuring out how to blame this on tea parties and Palin than to actually be concerned with the victims.
So true, she is still in need of many prayers.
My sister was talking completely normal right after her brain surgery too, and then the swelling took over. It was about a year before she regained most of her facilities again.
I was at this meeting also; I believe in the strength of group prayer after this ordeal.
