The Left does some truly despicable things in this world, but this is a new low for Democrats.
Former three-time Democrat gubernatorial candidate Fred Phelps Jr. (commonly called just “Fred Phelps”) and his Westboro Hate Group have announced plans to disrupt the funeral of 9 year-old shooting victim Christina Greene.
Christina was murdered by Jared Lee Loughner yesterday in his assassination attempt on Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. The little girl was born on September 11th, 2001, so her parents have been cursed with a horrific trifecta of high profile trauma: their daughter born on the worst day in our generations’ lives, their daughter murdered in an assassination attempt on a member of Congress, and Democrat Fred Phelps aiming his hate machine at their family during their daughter’s funeral.
Democrat Phelps (an enormous supporter of Al Gore’s, though the media conveniently leaves off that he’s a Democrat and instead likes to imply he’s a conservative, which he is not…he’s a Democrat, and ran repeatedly on the Democrat ticket unsuccessfully for several elected offices) disrupted the funeral of Elizabeth Edwards last month, because it is what he does.

On a day when a family is hurt the most it could possibly imagine being hurt, this horrible man makes things just a little worse for all involved.
There are no printable words for what I imagine we all think of Phelps and Westboro.
Below the fold, there’s the video of Phelps making the announcement that he’s going to disrupt little Christina Greene’s funeral and traumatize her family. It’s like watching a video of Osama bin Laden or Dracula talking about the evil things they are going to do next. Watch it if you must, but it’s stomach turning. It’s the most horrible thing I have ever seen, frankly.

From what I understand, Christina Greene and her family are Catholic. I hope the Bishop of Tucson is bold enough to call out Phelps for the fraud of a Christian that he is, and makes it clear that any of the WBC moonbats who dare step onto the Parish property will be arrested for trespassing post-haste.

They left the Democratic party completely on Christmas Eve, 2009 when the Senate passed their version of Obamacare. They are political independents now and will NOT join the Republican party, because of the corruption in the Illinois state party. Additionally, they are no fan of the RINO candidates the establishment Republican party tries to foist on the voters.

Ever since I was child, when I first heard about dueling, I always thought it the most reasonable, honest method for two irreconcilable parties to finish an argument.
I was mortified beyond comprehension when I found out that dueling had been outlawed in America. *Outlawed*. In *America*, for heaven's sake.
I tie the rise of the legal class and the destruction of justice in America to the outlawing of dueling. It allowed words to take precedence over deeds, and made anathema the concept of putting one's life on the line in defense of one's honor, as well as expecting and demanding the same from your fellow countrymen.

Dueling left a lot to be desired, especially if lying bastards were expert in the use of word, sword, and pistol.
You make a good point. The threat of a duel on the spur of the moment was perhaps the real force to be reckoned with.

As a member of The Patriot Guard here in Maine, I can tell you that they they will not attend, because that is not their/our mission.
There is little in my life that has been as difficult, painful, and requiring as much self restraint as standing for the Fallen, and listening to these moonbats spew their twisted venom.

I am in hopes that the good citizens of Arizona stand together and shield the family in a non-violent, non-confrontational matter, rather acting like a shield.
