Don't confuse Greenpeace with the Sea Shepherds.

The latter, lead by Paul Watson, engage in what can be fairly described as piracy.

No nation had issued them marques of reprisal, yet they take it upon themselves to try to "enforce" their own interpretation of international whaling agreements.

The Sea Shepherd folks speak disdainfully of the Greenpeace crowd, for being too "peaceful". It's one of their main topics of conversation. I used to know one of the Sea Shepherd a-holes. (it's a long story).

The real or wannabe eco-terror type are much more likely to follow Watson's lead than lionize Greenpeace.

I don't care much for either outfit.
