"I can't trust the current government," and "I'm a sleepwalker," Jared Lee Loughner proclaimed in an Internet video before the shooting of a federal judge, congresswoman and others...
His rambling videos had already caused him trouble at school, scaring his community college into suspending him in September.
SNIP
Pima Community College...issued a statement identifying Loughner as the suspect. It said he was...suspended Sept. 29 for conduct violations. It said he agreed to withdrew from the college on Oct. 4.
...Loughner had five contacts with college police for disrupting classrooms and the library. It said he was prohibited from returning to the college.
SNIP
And The Republic reports that in mid-December, about the same time as the videos were posted, Loughner posted:
"WOW! Im glad i didnt kill myself. Ill see you on National T.v.! This is foreshadow .... why doesnt anyone talk to me?.."
and
"I dont feel good: Im ready to kill a police officer! I can say it."
In a profile online, he listed his favorite books: "Animal Farm," "Brave New World,"..."The Communist Manifesto," "Siddhartha," "The Old Man and the Sea," "Gulliver's Travels," "Mein Kampf,"...
A 22-year-old woman in Arizona, Caitie Parker, claimed on her Twitter feed that she went to high school and college with the gunman, and was in a band with him. She described his politics in the past as "left wing, quite liberal, & oddly obsessed with the 2012 prophecy." She also described him as having a lot of friends "until he got alcohol poisoning in '06" and dropped out of school. "Mainly loner very philosophical."
Parker described the gunman meeting Rep. Gabrielle Giffords previously: "He was a political radical & met Giffords once before in '07, asked her a question & he told me she was 'stupid & unintelligent.'"

If you click on the original MSNBC source of this article, the editors there have tried to hide this quote as you have to scroll down and click on "Show more text" to open up a page that has the tail end of the article.
Other media outlets have focused quotes on "bigotry" and "incivility" as somehow having linkage...Nothing like a liberal loony on the loose to give the liberal MSM on the loose an excuse to take pot-shots @ whoever they want to blame for this!
Wow, color me shocked that MSNBC included that quote from Parker about Loughner’s liberal politics.
I am thinking this kid is on a bad drug trip of some sort. Maybe LSD and never came back. Watching the media try to blame the Tea Party is fast becoming a farce. They do not even realize how stupid they seem.
The world is upside down. MSNBC of all places includes the friend’s description of him as a lib, while FOX is going on about his possible connection to an anti-semitic, anti-government group.
I have turned the channel to a M*A*S*H rerun. Can’t take it anymore!
...that and also the communist manifesto being a favorite book as well....
You know, it gets so tiresome to try and put political motives on to someone like this.
In the old days he would be called a nut. Today he is a political activist.
Acually, the Radical Left does NOT like this current Admin.
Agreed.
Still a difference 'tween motivations [his nuthood disorientation] & his worldview orientation [the sheer insanity of living as a liberal].
IOW, who knows how much his political views influenced his trigger? But I'm sure many of his liberal worldviews was looney in & of itself, aside from what he did Saturday.
Agreed. But are you then tying the Admin all the way down to a congresswoman, an aide, a fed judge & three elderly people outside a store?
Apparently he also made some comment about "not killing a policeman" prior to Saturday...I don't think you can start linking the authority of a policeman to the White House authority, either.
Apparently this lowlife was living at home with the parents. They didn’t see anything out of the ordinary with him? Weren’t they at the least uncomfortable with this behaviour? Did they even communicate with him? As a parent myself I’ve got questions...
we need to find out what the question was that he asked..
Boy you missed my point.
The msm is claiming BECAUSE he didn’t like the GOV that he is Tea Party.
The truth is the Radical left doesn’t like the way this Admin is governing. ie: Tax cuts for the Rich,Dream Act so on and so forth.
Still...the parents I'm sure we'ren't clued in to some of the key neon lights -- like the community college's alarm bells going off over his on-campus behavior & 'tube videos.
Since he was an adult, & colleges would be reticent sharing any "confidential" info, it could be the parents didn't even know about that.
It doesn't surprise me the MSM has made that connection. (Do you know which outlets are out front in presenting that fantasy narrative?)
My primary focus on posting this thread wasn't to get into "He's a liberal...he goes around shooting people"...but to rather focus on how the liberal aspects of the shooter were likely to be overwhelmingly overlooked by the liberal MSM...whereas if the reverse were true...it would be neon-lit everywhere & trumpeted by the leftist MSM.
I've seen another article pointing out that Loughner was a registered independent. But beyond that, has anybody seen any other major news outlet (besides MSNBC) mentioning Loughner's extreme liberalism?
It’s more likely that the kid has schizophrenia, which LSD mimics. He’s the right age for coming down with schizophrenia and the disjointed rambling of his writing has the look of someone whose thought process is disintegrating.
Well, he and I agree on one point.....
“I can’t trust the current government,”
True, who could trust a government that uses their citizens for credit at the federal no reserve atm machine like they are cattle for slaughter?
Actually, they did. They even attended a follow-up meeting with Jared at PCC to try and get him readmitted.
Police spoke to the parents about the Pima CC issue, at his house.
