Actually, he called for a “Shout Out” for a friend whom he mistakenly called a “medal of honor” recipient.
The military are not one of the 435 royal members of Congress.
He came close to asking for a moment of silence - the socialist tried to silence our voices and demanded that we wait (even after we knew that an Islamic nutcase who frequented jihadi web sites and screamed Allah Fubar had murdered our soldiers) before jumping to conclusions.
Is a ‘shout out’ the same as a moment of silence? If not, then, well, no.
Before a big speech he was supposed to give about the Fort Hood shootings, he was at the podium giving “shout outs.”
