Question: Did Obama ask for moment of silence after Muslim lunatic killed Ft. Hood soldiers?
Free Republic Wisdom ^

I saw on the news today Obama is asking for a national moment of silence at 11:00 am today. I think it is appropriate...but I wonder if he did the same thing for soldiers at Ft. Hood.

I don't recall him taking that tragedy as seriously--and he didn't react as quickly, did he?

More Daley influence. He’s got an adult on staff now. Everything the guy does is for a reason, they will be working hard to remake his image...

I’ve found a flags-at-half-staff directive, but no evidence or recollection of a Moment-of-Silence request for the victims of the Mad Muzzie Major.

How dare you refer to one of Odummer’s pals as a Muslim Lunatic? Don’t you understand? He’s was just a Lunatic. He can’t be referred to as a muslim because that would be wholly unfair to the ROPeace and the billions of peaceful little muslims just going through their normal day of terrorist preparations, mutilation of young muslim girls clits, honor killing to keep the ROP pure, and of course planning the violent deaths of billions of Christians, Jews and other people who just want to live out their miserable, retched lives. How dare you SIR!

daley will be a bad influence... and this just contrasts his priorities... he hates the military but loves Congresswomen with an ADA rating of 95%. He would ask for a moment of silence for zawahiri too.

It’s a great tragedy that this happened.
It’s a great tragedy that the other side decided to turn it political and use it against Palin and the Tea Party.

And it is a great tragedy if we try to make political hay out of it.

I seem to recall a “moment of shout-out” to a Medal of Honor winner who wasn’t...

I don’t recall a moment of silence. I do remember an admonition to not blame Muslims. I do remember a shout out to an Indian chief during his first remarks on the massacre. And I do know that he didn’t attend the one year anniversary memorial service.

It’s because a democrat congresscritter is involved. Politicians apparently trump the military, at least in Bozo’s world.

I’ve been thinking about this for a while, now.

Where WAS the universal outrage after the Fort Hood shootings?

I recall reading that he asked George & Laura Bush to NOT visit Ft Hood after they had done so.

Barky, who I think had other more pressing matters DID NOT visit Ft. Hood til the memorial service day (5 or so days later). Mr. and Mrs. Bush (as private citizens) visited the Medical Center at Ft. Hood UNDER THE RADAR...NO PRESS. It came out on the internet afterwards as base personnel and their families started posting (Facebook) that the Bushes had spent hours there with the victims. It was then questioned, (again, on the interwebs) ‘ahhh, where is the CURRENT Commander in Chief?’

There was little or none from the 'Rat pols (i.e., Obama) or the media because the victims were military personnel, just nameless working stiffs who were convenient targets for a radical Muslim terrorists, although relatively few would dare call it that. In the present tragedy, the primary victim of media interest was a (female) 'Rat Congressperson, and that makes all the difference. (It was a rhetorical question, I know, but I had to put something out as a post on this, it's so frustrating and enraging how the despicable 'Rats and the media are trying to score political points on a tragedy, their SOP).

Apparently not. I went looking a Google News because I wondered the same thing about an hour ago.

It's about as SOP as it gets with the Left. If people can't see by now how utterly and pathetically predictable these accusations are, they never will.
