Bill Ayers, communist provided Arizona shooter's curriculum ?

Jared Lee Loughner, the suspected gunman in Saturday's Arizona shooting, attended a high school that is part of a network in which teachers are trained and provided resources by a liberal group founded by Weatherman terrorist Bill Ayers and funded by President Obama, WND has learned.

The group, Small Schools Workshop, has been led by a former top communist activist who is an associate of Ayers.

Obama provided the group with funds in the 1990s when he worked at an education reform group alongside Ayers.

Loughner attended Mountain View High School, which is part of Arizona's Morana Unified School District.

Since 2003, Mountain View has been part of what is known as the Smaller Learning Community, a network of schools that have been restructured to create a more personalized learning environment where students often have the same teachers and fellow students from grade to grade.

Very possible. Ayer’s curriculum is in use in “1500 public schools.”

It’s scary to think that the press is completely “owned” by the government. Once the government takes complete control of the internet we won’t be able to learn of things like this from outfits such as WND. As of now the internet is the only place we can get the truth and we have to be very careful and try to determine how much of that is factual.

Both the left and right are going nuts. This guy was troubled. Why are we playing who can out blame the other. Totally ridiculous. Sorry but the stretch of this story makes the liberals very tame.

The plot thickens.

At this rate, this entire episode will be lost in the media ether in less than a week.

Is there a pool for how long it takes before somebody finds Hope and Change sticker on his car?

Funny. I see this as totally different. I see it as self defense. Information like this is meant to undermine THEIR asinine attempts to blame this on conservatives NOT to an attempt to blame it on liberals.

From the UK,

on one hand I can certainly see your point, on the other hand the use of such a syllabus would be alarming without this shooting - if you see what I’m getting at. It would be akin to Gerry Adams helping to write material for our schools.

I've been to many political events such as those involving direct contact with my representatives. The local and state cops were always within ten feet of the politician and the public within that zone of meet-n-greet.

Where was the local and state police force in this mayhem gone bad? Why were they not close by? Were there local cops who were being paid for security or crowd control?

It sounds as if the plan of the Small Schools Workshop is to have the same teacher brainwash the kids all the way through school. Instead of getting the usual variety of teachers—some good, some bad—they get stuck with the same teacher all the way through.

So, if that teacher is chosen by Marxist community activists, there’s little chance that any different ideas might sneak through and help the kid think for himself.

The violent rhetoric of 2 well respected Chicago area professors who happen to live in the same neighborhood as our putative POTUS:

Bill Ayers (1968): “Kill all the rich people! Break up their cars and apartments! Bring the revolution home, kill your parents - that’s where it’s really at!”

1969 - Ayers attempted to extort money ($20,000) from the Vietnam Moratorium Committee. When a member of the Moratorium group asked Bill Ayers what he really wanted, “To kill all rich people,” Ayers responded. When another peace activist pointed out that Ayers himself came from wealth, he answered: “Bring the war home. Kill your parents.”

1969 (December 27 to 31) – Weathermen hold a “War Council” meeting in Flint, MI. Bernardine Dohrn comments about the Charles Manson-led “Sharon Tate - LaBianca Murders” “Dig It! First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, and then they put a fork in pig Tate’s belly! Wild!

Guilty as Hell, Free as a Bird (for now)

"I don't regret setting bombs," Bill Ayers said. "I feel we didn't do enough."

I wonder if Ayers is cheering for the shooter's contribution to anarchy and if Loughner will some day be writing the liberal curriculum for schools.

Both of you have valid points. I guess I am in such disbelief that we are trying to find out what is up with this guy and we have nothing but hypothesis answers right now. I wish this kid would talk. I know at first he did not want to say anything and it is too late now as I am sure he lawyered up. This guessing could all be mute if he has given us the reasons right away. I wish he would have. He could have settled all this easily and quickly. I think he is getting a kick out of all this. He is certainly getting his 15 minutes of fame that is for sure. He might even be a trivial pursuit question someday.
