Here in Florida parents can have there kids or anyone sent in for drug or mental problems as long as the police say the person is a threat to him self or others....example a person high on drugs ...it is the police call...had a girl down the street high on drugs and some times she goes and other times the police say no...
Can you document that?
Freeper satindoll brought it to my attention, and I am hoping if enough freepers are told about it that we can find out if it's true, and it it isn't, to find out what kind of work Jared/Jerry's dad does.

That is simple. He had never been convicted of a felony and had never been legally adjudicated mentally incompetent. That's pretty much all a NICS check will turn up.
Oh, one other thing will cause you to fail a NICS check to buy a firearm. A restraining order for domestic violence. No conviction necessary.
Since the Sheriff is the one who started the idiotic blame game - and I find it scary when somebody in his positions starts accusing people without a shred of evidence, then we should start pointing the finger at him and keep repeating how he failed to do his job.
