That pretty much describes what the left is doing.
IMO, the word “vitriol” lacks gravitas.
I wonder if Jared Loughner would approve of vitriol usage?

Wow...to new lefty words in a month...vitriol and kerfuffle...or however you spell the stupid word...
Vitriol is the new “racism.”
These people are shameless.
Vitriol may lack gravitas but it does have schadenfreude. We know this because that great marxist linguist Noam Chomsky told us it is so.
You can always tell when the left thinks they are losing. They call calm, conciliation, compromise, etc.
They call *for* calm, conciliation, compromise, etc.
Talking points - liberals lost the ability to think for themselves years ago...
Vitriol is the Demonrat party’s flavor-of-the-month. February will bring another word to harp on until we’re tired of hearing it.
Vitriol sounds like pecker medicine. Just sayin’...
Kerfuffle is not a liberal word. James Taranto of the Wall Street Journal used it for a few years in referring to the “Plame Kerfuffle.”
John Edwards, as far as I can tell, was correct about one thing and one thing only. There are two Americas.
This nightmare in Arizona and the reaction to it is only hardening those lines of division.
It’s a dangerous game the left has decided to play (no, Mr. FBI, that is not a threat) because it only feeds the fear of countless citizens that elected officals and the fourth estate cannot be trusted.
Vitriol: Telling the truth about democrats.
You are so right. They totally model themselves after the Borg. I love the comparison.
How long after the incident did the post that? I’m thinking right away.
Pretty darn quick. I didn't see a posting time but I did find this quote:
"Dupnik said that [Judge John] Roll, whom he described as "one of the finest human beings I ever met in my life," had stopped by Giffords' event on his way home from Mass, which he attended daily."
Is it possible that Dupnik feels great guilt for letting the shooter wander loose to kill his friend?
You can bet that when the Republicans put the Obamacare repeal back on the docket in the house, we’ll hear cries of, “See...more vitriol from the right!”
If dissent is perceived as “vitriolic”, then so be it. They want us to stop dissenting.
I know. We need to wear it like a badge of courage.
The left has been using "vitrolic" language since the tea party's conception over two years ago. They cannot stand that America is not following them to their Utopia they have planned for us.
They hate Reagan, Bush, Cheney, Palin, Petraus, condi Rice, the soldiers fighting in any war, Glenn Beck, Rush, O'Reilly etc, etc.
They love terroists (freedom fighters), wikileaks (freedom of speech) and the Palestanians (victims).
- - He's insulted his predecessor, President Dubya, numerous times.
- - He's gone out of his way to insult our traditional allies.
- - Obama insulted the U S Supreme Court, to their face, in the SOTU.
- - IIRC, he's insulted and disrespected the finest among us, those who wear the uniform.
- - IIRC, he believes that his critics are "enemies".
The list goes on.
Am I wrong here? Has there ever been a U. S. President who would closely fit the term "vitriolic"?
Your probably right. But, only a coward would demonize others for what he might have stopped.
When you're right, you're right.
lets end vitriol, end this stuff ...
