Subtract one home schooler from the list. Cause she graduated six months early.
Two down, two to go.

I want a bumper sticker that says: my home school student could teach your honor student. Now that there's funny!

You are welcome. Children truly are a blessing from the Lord!!!

I want a bumper sticker that says: my home school student could teach your honor student. The future of our nation depends on who wins the raise to the top: the home-schooled lambs of the Lord's flock? Or the janissaries of the self-divinizing State?

We only have the one child, who will be 9 in less than a month. We are homeschooling him and he is light years ahead of the 5th grade government indoctrinated children I tutor. We are friends with several families with between 6 and 12 children who are all home schooled.

That actually is the underlying concern of the anti-homeschoolers.
Homeschooled kids are not being indoctrinated into the leftist worldview, and the left is PO’d!
There’s an article out called “the third wave of homeschool persecution” that everyone should read.
I want everyone to also be on the lookout for the term
“scientific illiteracy”. This is their next cover “concern troll” issue.
What “scientific illiteracy” means is questioning anthropogenic global warming, evolution, and the age of the earth. It does not mean “scientific illiteracy”.

They work for five hours a day?
We do three, including Latin.
My girls are also 2 grades ahead. Doing Algebra 1 and 2 at 10 and 13.

I would, of course, need a grant to make a complete study, but my initial projections put the number of well-educated children in the US at ... approximately two million.
And it snowballs. 15 or so years ago they were saying there were 1 million. Those kids have since graduated. We are only just not getting into the second generation of homeschoolers. I expect the numbers to balloon quite a bit in the next 10-15 years.

Most people I’ve talked to can’t accept that the Prussian model was used in America, they just can’t accept that the goal was as you stated “to transform 94% of their children into docile factory hands and cannon fodder”.
But it’s the truth.

The left is going to HAVE to put the kabosh on this trend before it gets out of hand.
Seriously, homeschooling threatens the core of leftism.

“Most people” have been deceived by the pernicious lie that “people are basically good”,
so they can’t believe that the goals of public education would be anything except to “help people” like the leftists say their goals are.
