Michael Savage a conservatives radio personality who is one of the harshest critics of Sarah Palin and of her choice of VP candidate in 2008 now says that he has renewed respect for her and that her Tucson shooting response was the "best said" and that "she is the only conservative that truly is standing up to the left" He criticized Republicans for hiding and being too timid " afraid to confront the left as Palin has done" "Let me tell you I have a now renewed respect for Sarah Palin"

Savage called for the resignation of the Republican Speaker of the House when the big media came out with their Foley fake scandal.
Unfairly Bashing Palin.
These are just 3 examples of hundreds that I know of that proves Michael Savage is a leftist mole, the Berkley graduate, liberal,who hung out with communists for years in San Francisco.
While I am a Savage listener and have always applauded

To call Mike a liberal is quite a stretch. I listen to him pretty regular. Michael is probably the biggest conservative radio without a doubt. Oh the most intelligent and has written multiple books (not just political).

I never listen to Savage, but have read a lot about him on FR. If he has been anti=palin all along and has gained a new respect for her, good for him that he stated it...Minds can be changed under the right conditions..Even those that are hard nosed about someone..
I do listen to him. That is why I distrust him. He is always ranting about his not being allowed in Briton. Who cares. A county does not have to let you in if they don’t want. Why the donations to Brown? He is the type of politician he rails against. Why is he constantly ranting against the other right wing talkers above him in the food chain? Rush, Hannity or Beck have never mentioned him. Why the jealousy? Finally what is this strange obsession with this dead military man? He has no evidence other than MacHinernies belief that his friend wouldn’t do this.
If you listen closer he says he is Conservative, but rails against those who actually are trying to push the agenda. He just says stuff that puts my radar up. I believe he’s a SF Lib just doing a gig for cash. His son swims around with the ultra left Hollywood types peddling his energy drinks and Mike tags along sometimes with no problems.

Like millions of Americans I learned of the tragic events in Arizona on Saturday, and my heart broke for the innocent victims. No words can fill the hole left by the death of an innocent, but we do mourn for the victims’ families as we express our sympathy.
I agree with the sentiments shared yesterday at the beautiful Catholic mass held in honor of the victims. The mass will hopefully help begin a healing process for the families touched by this tragedy and for our country.
Our exceptional nation, so vibrant with ideas and the passionate exchange and debate of ideas, is a light to the rest of the world. Congresswoman Giffords and her constituents were exercising their right to exchange ideas that day, to celebrate our Republic’s core values and peacefully assemble to petition our government. It’s inexcusable and incomprehensible why a single evil man took the lives of peaceful citizens that day.
There is a bittersweet irony that the strength of the American spirit shines brightest in times of tragedy. We saw that in Arizona. We saw the tenacity of those clinging to life, the compassion of those who kept the victims alive, and the heroism of those who overpowered a deranged gunman.
Like many, I’ve spent the past few days reflecting on what happened and praying for guidance. After this shocking tragedy, I listened at first puzzled, then with concern, and now with sadness, to the irresponsible statements from people attempting to apportion blame for this terrible event.
President Reagan said, “We must reject the idea that every time a law’s broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.” Acts of monstrous criminality stand on their own. They begin and end with the criminals who commit them, not collectively with all the citizens of a state, not with those who listen to talk radio, not with maps of swing districts used by both sides of the aisle, not with law-abiding citizens who respectfully exercise their First Amendment rights at campaign rallies, not with those who proudly voted in the last election.
The last election was all about taking responsibility for our country’s future. President Obama and I may not agree on everything, but I know he would join me in affirming the health of our democratic process. Two years ago his party was victorious. Last November, the other party won. In both elections the will of the American people was heard, and the peaceful transition of power proved yet again the enduring strength of our Republic.
Vigorous and spirited public debates during elections are among our most cherished traditions. And after the election, we shake hands and get back to work, and often both sides find common ground back in D.C. and elsewhere. If you don’t like a person’s vision for the country, you’re free to debate that vision. If you don’t like their ideas, you’re free to propose better ideas. But, especially within hours of a tragedy unfolding, journalists and pundits should not manufacture a blood libel that serves only to incite the very hatred and violence they purport to condemn. That is reprehensible.
There are those who claim political rhetoric is to blame for the despicable act of this deranged, apparently apolitical criminal. And they claim political debate has somehow gotten more heated just recently. But when was it less heated? Back in those “calm days” when political figures literally settled their differences with dueling pistols? In an ideal world all discourse would be civil and all disagreements cordial. But our Founding Fathers knew they weren’t designing a system for perfect men and women. If men and women were angels, there would be no need for government. Our Founders’ genius was to design a system that helped settle the inevitable conflicts caused by our imperfect passions in civil ways. So, we must condemn violence if our Republic is to endure.
As I said while campaigning for others last March in Arizona during a very heated primary race, “We know violence isn’t the answer. When we ‘take up our arms’, we’re talking about our vote.” Yes, our debates are full of passion, but we settle our political differences respectfully at the ballot box – as we did just two months ago, and as our Republic enables us to do again in the next election, and the next. That’s who we are as Americans and how we were meant to be. Public discourse and debate isn’t a sign of crisis, but of our enduring strength. It is part of why America is exceptional.
No one should be deterred from speaking up and speaking out in peaceful dissent, and we certainly must not be deterred by those who embrace evil and call it good. And we will not be stopped from celebrating the greatness of our country and our foundational freedoms by those who mock its greatness by being intolerant of differing opinion and seeking to muzzle dissent with shrill cries of imagined insults.
Just days before she was shot, Congresswoman Giffords read the First Amendment on the floor of the House. It was a beautiful moment and more than simply “symbolic,” as some claim, to have the Constitution read by our Congress. I am confident she knew that reading our sacred charter of liberty was more than just “symbolic.” But less than a week after Congresswoman Giffords reaffirmed our protected freedoms, another member of Congress announced that he would propose a law that would criminalize speech he found offensive.
It is in the hour when our values are challenged that we must remain resolved to protect those values. Recall how the events of 9-11 challenged our values and we had to fight the tendency to trade our freedoms for perceived security. And so it is today.
Let us honor those precious lives cut short in Tucson by praying for them and their families and by cherishing their memories. Let us pray for the full recovery of the wounded. And let us pray for our country. In times like this we need God’s guidance and the peace He provides. We need strength to not let the random acts of a criminal turn us against ourselves, or weaken our solid foundation, or provide a pretext to stifle debate.
America must be stronger than the evil we saw displayed last week. We are better than the mindless finger-pointing we endured in the wake of the tragedy. We will come out of this stronger and more united in our desire to peacefully engage in the great debates of our time, to respectfully embrace our differences in a positive manner, and to unite in the knowledge that, though our ideas may be different, we must all strive for a better future for our country. May God bless America.

I have criticized Savage fort those things too. He maybe be a narcissist and a bit nuts, but he's not a liberal by any stretch. Some of the best conservatives have deep radical liberal pasts, David Horowitz for one.

You really think the Republican party is a conservative alternative to the Socialist/Communist Democrat party? The Republicans blew up the size of government under Bush (minus all the September 11th response). It was the largest expansion since Lyndon Johnson and the largest in the history of our nation.
Then the Republicans run a Putz like McCain who bashed North Carolina Republicans who called Obama by his middle name. The Republicans are barely conservative and it’s why the Tea party. The Republicans have not been good since Reagan. Even Nixon created expanded the size government with departments like the Environmental Protection Agency. Which is a complete joke.

What is Rush’s education qualifications besides being a jr. college drop out and radio DJ? Hannity never even went to college. Did he even graduate from High School? Democrats created almost all government agencies and no democrat is for deporting illegals nor for abolishing a government agency.
the Democrats had complete control of Congress for almost all the years since 1932. Only in 14 years from 1994 to 2006 did Republicans only have a simple majority. And in those years Republicans appointed 2 conservative justices, stopped Amnesty and many socialist bills like Clinton's government healthcare , and thousands of other socialist bills from coming to the floor that democrats introduced in their Lame Duck session which Republicans again stopped most of those country destroying bills.

Do those book titles above sound Liberal to you? I podcast Savage and without a doubt he is probably the most conservative radio host. I happen to notice that Rush lifts ideas and sayings from Savage too and pretends he came up with it. I just know this because I listen to both.

I usually listen to Savage on my drive home from work, I’ve come around on him, he can be nutty at times, but he’s the only one who is talking about the things that really matter and can cut through all the BS.
Agree 100%.. He is not afraid to speak his mind and he is passionate about his position.
Savage has also said he pretty much agrees with all her politics. He has expressed real concerns about her viability as a candidate, not because he doesn't like her, but because he doesn't want four more years of Obama. I have to say I share some of his concerns. I think she's a great woman, and would make a terrific president. I would vote for her, and campaign for her. Having said that, the fact remains that many otherwise rational, and even right leaning people who are not political watchers have been exposed to so much negative agit-prop about her that they sense there must be a fire under all the smoke. It's no fault of her own, but it is a political reality that she would have to overcome.
So, because of all that, you are saying that Savage is lying about Sarah's speech?

The Republican party use to be a conservative party, but it’s really not that way anymore. Why do you think we have terms like RINO??? They compromise too much and grow government.
